Another issue was after I bedded in the brakes, I noticed that the left crank arm had play. It turned out that the pinch bolts were completely loose, not even finger tight, so basically the arm was being held on by the plastic preload screw. I had to order a Shimano crank tool, but after removing the arm it doesn't seem like much damage was done, although some metal powder was worn off from the arm.

The dropper post lever that came with the bike had the cable all wound up inside the lever itself so it wouldn't budge at all, the screw that held the cable in place was stripped, and the barrel adjuster was screwed all the way in, rendering the lever (and dropper) essentially useless. I contacted CRC and they quickly sent out a replacement lever, although for some reason the package that arrived was a build starter kit (plastic pedals, multitool, and pedal wrench). They eventually sent out a lever though. I ended up installing a PNW 150mm dropper shimmed to 140mm since the stock 170mm dropper was too long for me

There's something to be said about the fun factor of a well-designed hard charging hardtop. Old familiar trails soon become a lot more fun than you remember. Line choices are way more rewarding and you soon start to question if you really need rear suspension.  Compared to the Common Cell, Meta Ht and the Nuke Proof Scout 270, the Ragley Mbop is slacker, longer, and more of a party bike than its competition. If you're planning on racing enduro on a hardtail, I think that Mbop might be what you're looking for. Like I mentioned earlier, this was a frame-up build so it will differ from the pre-built options you'll find from Ragley themselves. With that said, I should probably mention what I've thrown on here

Ragley MMMBOP Hardtail Review ... Sort of...

So who am I as a rider? I am a non-racing weekend warrior from Arkansas. Elevation in the state is is not very tall but can be steep. Ups and downs are both short and traversing but with very little flat.

This bike is a ton of fun! I was lookkng for a hardtail to mix up when I wanted to ride something different that my full sus 29er trail bike (19 Stumpjumper ST).

* Full suspension: Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp - great condition. The guy said it's from 2007. He kept it well maintained and comes with a bleed kit.

It sounds like the type of riding you'll be doing puts you in the full suspension category. The stumpjumper has always been a great platform.

Can't Decide Against Hardtail vs Full-Sus...

 I will say however my santa cruz had it all over the evil on paint finish, and frame finishing.

I am trying to decide between some bikes with a lifetime frame warranty. I've found an Evil Offering GX build, and a Santa Cruz Bronson C S MX build. Would love a hightower, but can't find one right now. I've heard that the offering is super playful, but seems like most people agree SC's customer service is hard to beat. Just looking to get some opinions from people that have owned some of these.
