 The other way these are not like traditional dumbbells is I wouldn't drop these. Some people have said that dropping them short distances is fine but I wouldn't.  These are not expandable so if you have to have more than 50lbs you'll need to order from Powerblocks website and avoid these altogether. However, there is a definite plus to owing this model

 So it only made sense to go out and get dumbbells on my own, because i love this hobby so much and now it's time it is time for fate of the union, where i give you my personal thoughts on these power blocks. First and foremost, if you are tight on space in your home gym and if you are looking to save money for your home gym, i highly recommend going with interchangeable. Dumbbells, specifically, the power blocks they've been around for a hot minute and, frankly, everyone that i've talked to swears by them as well as me, i would say, if you're trying to get the best bang for your buck, go with the elite series. It'S going to get you everything you possibly need and then some especially if you go all the way up to the 90 pound version, i will say i personally think you should skip the sport version

Power Blocks 1 Year Later

I don't think the product manager actually used these or maybe they used them wearing lulu lemon tights, because if you wear an old pair of cargo shorts when you're working out (like pretty much every guy), the protrusions and the little red lever, catch on your shorts constantly (esp when doing curls). I had the older set and loved them and was looking forward to these but now I'm wanting my originals back. When I originally ordered these I had to buy them direct from Powerblock, but the review will do the most good here. You've been warned

 These go up to 90, which is huge and again, you know. For me. I really like the fact that you know i can have the increments all the way 10 to 90 as well, so i can do all assortment of exercises with different types of weights and another advantage that i really like my number three advantage is: how fast you Can pull the clip out and then put in the next weight within seconds? You go from 10 to 20 to 20 to 30, and so on. So we're going on to advantage number four - and i would say, is the fact that you can do like 95 percent of the exercises you could do with your standard dumbbells

 I think the shipping for me is like 150, that's almost close to a thousand dollars you're spending on dumbbells. But you have to remember this. If you got a full rack of dumbbells, five to 100 you're, probably gon na spend way more than that plus the amount of space it takes up so overall, just imagine less space and just more bang for your buck. So my overall rating of the power block pro series dumbbells, you got to go out and get them okay

Okay and i'll put right here on image of the price, for you guys now the one thing that's nice about the power box is you can get expanders so for me, because i like to do heavy weight, i'm going to show you guys a video right here Of the price, along with the expanders it goes with, you can go from five, i'm sorry 50 to 70, which would be 169 dollars. And then, if you want to go even heavier, you can go 70 to 90, which is an added 169 and in the video it shows you the total price it would cost with just the 5 to 50 and then the 50 to 70 expander and then the 70 to 90 expander

. It'S like over 800, some dollars plus shipping. I think the shipping for me is like 150, that's almost close to a thousand dollars you're spending on dumbbells. But you have to remember this

I ordered a pair 10s, 12s, and 30s. The listing is for individual weights so that meant adding two of each to my cart. The 12s and 30s came individually wrapped. The wrapping was impressively protective

 It bears mentioning because the listing clearly states "robust packaging." I deducted a star in my review for that incorrect listing information. I still think these are great weights at a very good price. The slight imperfections don't bother me at all but the NEW EDITION false claims of packaging do

10s were NOT nicely wrapped

I bought these to replace a pair of basic cast iron dumbbells that had a really rough grip. These grips are very comfortable and have a good circumference. My hand is 7" from wrist to tip of middle finger and I have no trouble with this grip. The only reason I knocked off a star is that both of the 20 lb weights I ordered weighed in at 19
