this is definitely a price point product but on par with other PowerA brand controllers I've had in the past(Nintendo Switch/XboxOne). This is the first one I've had any issue with but being my PC controller it really isnt much of an issue. The left trigger reads about 0.05 depressed all the time but on PC I can tune out the dead zone to avoid issues

The pricing, yeah HTC got very greedy with Vive Pro, now they've done it again with Vive Pro 2...they're asking for quite a lot for incremental upgrades

3 star - product does what it was purchased for, and it is properly made. 4 star - product does more than what it was intended for OR is made in an outstanding manner (long lasting) 5 star - product does more than what it was intended for AND is made in an outstanding manner (long lasting)

I also got the wireless card at a ridiculous price, which brought my VP2 total to around $690. It's OK. Performance has been hit and miss for me so far. I should note that the wireless adapter requires a free PCI-E slot

i like it cause i avoid r buttons, 2 extra buttons to, more thumbstick improved. audio looks cool but it doesnt just work perfect cause it doesnt automatically best setup in console and i feel like your drivers arent new enough and you really can't hear me but at least it recognizes headphones and your audio isn't in all the xbox software it barely works right.

I also get headset jitter on the 8KX (something else I've seen reported) and for some reason the Index Controllers jitter a lot more when paired to the 8KX and sometimes fly off into the distance. I've seen other people report this and there's a thread on the Pimax forums where this has been "fixed" by pairing the controllers to dongles instead of the headset. Yeah, nah I'm not doing that. Also the software is sometimes fine, sometimes terrible

For example, when playing Forza Horizon 4, there are instances when I can’t even turn the car. I suppose it’s possible you may not experience this issue, but I would recommend that you invest some more money and buy a higher quality controller.

just my impressions so far, had the index for a couple of days, almost a week. I play elite dangerous, Microsoft flight simulator, Pavlov VR, Boneworks, Half-Life: Alyx, and a bunch of others. Also, I lost motivation to keep writing so it sounds like I put less and less effort into each paragraph as well as being less and less formal. One last thing, I *do not* want to proofread this so if there are mistakes ignore them it's 3:30 am right now

I still like the controller and it's my go-to over my OEM Xbox controllers for single player games because it is just so comfortable to use, and everything else about it works right. It's just a shame that the headset clicking issue and random disconnection keep it from being perfect. I'd still recommend it with reservations given my mostly positive experience.

A few months ago I bought this controller to replace another controller from Easy SMX (Another good controller for the most part) and to be honest I really like it. Buttons don't stick, joysticks work great and they don't slip from my thumbs. I've used it to play Monster Hunter Rise/Sunbreak, Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires, Valfaris, Huntdown, Blasphemous, King of Fighters 2002, Dead by Daylight and Skullgirls and it controls smoothly. Granted I haven't used it for an FPS or TPS that requires a lot of precision but from Monster Hunter I haven't felt like I'm fighting the controller at all

2 used by Oculus Link. A real world example of why this matters can be seen in the difference in playing a heavily modded Skyrim VR on my Quest 1 vs Index. On the Q1 my gameplay stutters and lags far more, distractingly so, than when I play on my Index. On the Index, the video image is transferred using Displayport

I bought this controller because my previous controller stopped working on me out of nowhere and I needed a new controller as quickly and cheaply as possible and for 30 bucks this controller looks and feels extremely nice but after a few days of using it I started noticing a issue with the left trigger button whenever I press down on it there's a huge delay for when I press it versus when the game responds to my input it stills works fine but I don't see this being my go to controller this is a really good controller for the price but don't except it to be your permanent controller

Aperture Hand Labs demonstrates the controllers' effectiveness by walking you through waving, hand shakes, fist bumps, and manipulating objects. Every interaction felt natural, and the controllers offered gentle vibrations to indicate when I touched a robotic hand or other object. Vibration adds to the immersive, finger-detection effect by letting you know when you’re directly interacting with something in- game. It can’t replace feeling something with your fingertips, but it’s a good start

I've had some companies cause nothing but grief trying to have them honor a warranty, so I really appreciate when the process is made so easy for me on my end.

2. Again, no experience with the Pro 1, but I came from an Index. The resolution was indeed an upgrade but everything else wasn't really that much. Index had better audio, mic, and sweet spot

This controller is great. I am a real human that owns and plays with this controller. That's the TLDR you're looking for. I've used this for 2-3 hours 5 days a week for the past month and a half on Apex Legends, Warzone, and Elden Ring

Be EXTRA fucking careful with it, get a good pulley system and make sure the cable has enough slack to reduce stress on the cable, don't tilt the headstrap up to avoid bending the part of the cable that connects to the headset, don't click too much on the joysticks to avoid chances of developing joystick drift, in fact don't use the joysticks at all and switch to the pathetically small touchpad, don't drop the controller even 1 foot off the ground or your trigger will pop off, I could go on.
