What console games do you wish would come to PC

 First off, the first jail is seriously a chore to get through and it may make it seem like there is nothing else to do. But they made the decision to bar all the side studff until you can get to your next jail.

 Even with all of its many faults the story, characters, and the style makes this a 10/10 game for me. Highly recommended.

What a narrative. Who is Lara Croft? Is she the defender of civilizations, subsequently the world, as she fights corrupt PMCs and kills ancient evils? The wholehearted girl who cries at the loss of a character she met 2 hours ago? The narrative tells you this unflinchingly as the game begins with Lara unremorsefully causing the Armageddon and getting hundreds to potentially thousands of people killed. Not sure of the scope, but that's as we see it. This is touched upon later by her, but like is best said by her companion Jonah: she seems to think it's all about her regardless

 Stealth kills are very satisfying, and it's also a satisfying loop to get into, short of having more mechanics to really round it out (a la Last of Us, imo).

 Except the game falls into all the pit traps any other of its ilk do, which is, "You are only allowed to climb here, and here. All the other space in this open world game is unavailable, sorry!" What's the point of giving me these fun tools if I can't even climb a regular, flat wall like I usually do when you *want* me to? Not only that, but I kept confusing completely non-traversal terrain with my strict, predetermined path; which they easily could have been, had the game any sense of variety. In the linear segments, it was at its worst, and underwhelming in tombs. Something that could have had a lot of variety for active, engaging gameplay, instead just felt like a frustrating railroad that killed time

What an absolute graphical treat, this game looks and runs pretty amazing. Of course, near the end, it wouldn't stop glitching on me every chance it got (I think the developers ran out of time), but for the most part it all played beautifully. Much of the animation I saw was fantastic (again, except glitches, like opening sarcophagi), Lara felt great to move around and fantastic facial animations (no, not the lipsync). The combat was easily the clunkiest part, but I can excuse that as it wasn't the worst thing ever

In terms of gameplay, everything controls fairly smoothly except when it glitches on my 10th consecutive climbing segment jump, or when I'm underwater and can drift like I'm in fucking Initial D. The open combat is sorely neglected. There's essentially no satisfaction from openly murdering these poor PMCs Lara comes across--not even in the shotgun, which is meant to be the very epitome of feel-good shooting in games. Not in this one, sadly

 Wait for a sale, Rent or never touch it again. Rating scale with rent being replaced by deep Deep Sale on PC This is a buy, but it's tentative. You really need to understand what you're going into. If you like to Rise, you'll probably like this

 And now it's time for the Big Dog which is gameplay and a bit about the story now. Tomb Raider starts where let's be honest I Think they all should have started and that's Lara and deep shit set a bit after. Rhys She's gotten herself into trouble once again by setting the stage for the end of the world. Supposedly she's fresh off stealing an ancient relic that can maybe possibly bring on the apocalypse and then comes right in the crosshairs of an organization Trinity which also wants the relic for themselves so they can reshape the world if they combine it with another relic convoluted you ask? Surprisingly enough, not really, you see

 It's not bad, it just doesn't really do anything for me. Jonah on the other hand, continues to be excellent with a nice rendition of the side dude with the tude being split down the middle with a caring, older bigger brother. And now it's time for the Big Dog which is gameplay and a bit about the story now. Tomb Raider starts where let's be honest I Think they all should have started and that's Lara and deep shit set a bit after

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Review "Buy, Wait for Sale, Rent, Never Touch?"

Now, the reason I didn't enjoy these activities in 'Shadow' may be considered questionable, since it is unfortunately related to the (still fantastic) graphical quality and environmental design, which makes gameplay conflict jarringly with appearance. Thanks to expansive vistas and excessive (but realistic) amounts of clutter everywhere, areas seem much less linear than they actually are. On the surface, this might sound nice, and could have been an improvement if it didn't actually reduce player freedom by preventing you from going anywhere you are not absolutely supposed to go. In the first 'Tomb Raider', the area borders were very obvious, which is admittedly clunky, but in exchange everything inside was traversible, whereas in 'Shadow' you can't even jump on the roofs of houses

Combat encounters have also been trimmed significantly, both overall and in terms of number of enemies, which leaves puzzles and traversal for the majority of what you actually do. While there are fewer, but much larger world areas, both mandatory as well as optional puzzles (crypts and tombs, which are much more hidden and out of the way now), are more numerous and notably larger than before.

 The completely unnecessary side-quests added for padding are also insultingly nonsensical, such as when a guy from an isolated village in the middle of the jungle asks Lara to find an artifact the queen tasked him to acquire as proof of his worth, because he 'doesn't have the time'. This might be par for the course in MMOs, but at least a little better should be expected from a story-focused first-person game such as this, especially when between the many lengthy (often unskippable) cutscenes and annoyingly long animations for everything from sitting down at a fire to wiggling through a crevice during which you lose control of Lara, large portions of the game are non-gameplay.

For one, not only is the story forgettable, which is to be expected, the narration (the overall way in which the story is conveyed), which was excellent in the first 'Tomb Raider', is complete garbage here. Like in many blockbuster movies, things happen more or less randomly all over the place without any coherence or emotional urgency and even though the scope is supposed to be grander, it never feels like there is much at stake without any personal investment from Lara, who is really just a tourist who happens to be nearby when the locals do things. The completely unnecessary side-quests added for padding are also insultingly nonsensical, such as when a guy from an isolated village in the middle of the jungle asks Lara to find an artifact the queen tasked him to acquire as proof of his worth, because he 'doesn't have the time'. The first and sadly, for me at least, only positive aspect of this game were the absolutely gorgeous graphics. It's quite impressive how much visual fidelity has improved in a mere five years, and the performance is good as well.

 Term rating is the primary focus here, thankfully. so story missions feature fewer firefights than the past two games and more lowly traversal shadows. puzzle based story missions optional. Crypts and nine Challenge tombs are giant, intricate affairs where ideas are rarely reused, forcing you to figure out their rules afresh each time

The Developers : how many times we should let the players fall in love with Lara Croft? Y E S. 

-The story discovers more about Lara vs Trinity conflict. It also solves the cliffhanger at the end of Rise of the Tomb Raider.

This time they invested all they got into the main story, and there is no Croft Manor Mode.

The worst thing about the game is probably non-stealth combat, shooting feels clunky and unpolished, not even close to the previous Tomb Raider. There is always a "toy guns" feeling that makes you wonder how a triple-A game managed to get launched with such bad shooting animations, toy sounds and artificial recoil.
