 It was used slightly, probably washed a few times. They do have, uh, you know, some of the canvas products that are going to make, they have a brown canvas, which is, you know, what comes as being a little bit stiffer than this hemp one. I'm not entirely sure if some colors are different or some models are different, but as far as canvas goes on the whole, this is a nice, easy to wear canvas. You get some of that toughness, but not all the toughness of the canvas

 This is an insulated jacket, so you have some nice insulation here. It's kind of like medium weight, really good for like, you know, high, low forties to maybe low sixties in temperature, where today is in the fifties is perfect. You do have an interior zip pocket. Again, this will be for valuables, not giant, but big enough for a wallet

Patagonia Iron Forge Hemp Canvas Ranch Jacket Review

 So in this video, I wanted to do a quick review of this.

 It's the Patagonia Iron Forge Hemp Canvas Ranch Jacket.

 It's a bit of a mouthful, but basically it's a work style rancher style jacket with a canvas

 It's kind of a Patagonia thing or a sustainability thing.

 I'm not entirely sure, but for my purposes, it's a nice working jacket, something to use

 in the garage, something to use out in the fall or spring outside while trying to get

 You know, you could wear it around, of course, but it definitely has a sort of utility vibe

 I didn't buy it for the styling, but I don't think it hurts.

 That's kind of one of the utility features to it.

 That's Patagonia's used clothing program, highly recommend that you get a great deal

 I got it in something like maybe 50% off, 40% off in near new condition.

 You can see, you know, it's got some, some wares coming through some wear over here on

 the seams or pockets, whatever, but it's in really great condition.

 I'm super happy with it as far as the back goes, there's really not much to show.

 The way some, some of these jackets do on the collar side, again, it's a, it's a shirt

 So you can pop it up for protection or some little extra warmth, but there's no, there's

 It's again, worker style jacket, kind of that Carhartt style thing and tight or like, I

 So when you bend over, you're doing some work on the ground or you're leaning over, whatever

 you get a little bit of extra protection of warmth back here, but not a lot.

 So this is hitting you a little bit below the waist.

 So you're not getting a huge amount of warmth again.

 That's why this thing is ideal in the forties and fifties, but below that, you're going

 to get a little bit cold and you're having some cold air sneak through.

 So there's not a big drop here and it's not a very long jacket.

 As far as the outer goes, this is the canvas, which makes people think it's going to be

 really tough, which it is, but also really stiff, which it's not.

 This is not as hard and as tough as a true canvas, which means it's a lot more comfortable

 It's a little bit hard for me to judge it because I haven't bought this one new.
