 Brew time on this coffee  maker is really quick and the temperature of the brewed coffee is excellent. This coffee maker is unique because unlike other coffee makers that will continue to heat your coffee once it is brewed, which contributes to strong tasting coffee, this machine shuts off once the brewing cycle has finished and your coffee stays hot inside the insulated carafe. I am proud to recommend this product to all my fellow coffee lovers who love a great tasting cup of coffee!

 So I was expecting coffee coming out of this machine to not really be at my preferred temp. But given the size of the carafe, especially when brewing partial pots, the coffee drops in temperature quite a bit just to get the inside of the carafe up to temp. I alleviate this by pouring some boiling water in the carafe while the coffee starts brewing then dumping it out to get the carafe up to temp. It adds a couple more steps

 In the future, I would probably buy a machine with a heated pad and glass pot.  Value Issue This machine looks nice and is well built. I hope it will last a long time. But for me the price doesn't justify the quality or ease of use issues

Not great value, unnecessarily bulky, coffee still gets cool too quickly

 This is atypical of all my previous Oxo products design experience. The carafe cannot be fully emptied and leaves coffee inside (due to the internal overhang of the black plastic top on the metal carafe). The carafe lid looks to be two separate pieces, top and bottom, which cannot be disassembled for cleaning inside the lid. Cleaning inside the carafe is very difficult (again due to the plastic overhang on the opening)

Bunns (some models) are all plastic now and look awful so I'll look elsewhere for that perfect coffee maker

 The build quality is good, I think it's better than the Cuisinart actually. Much easier to put water in that's for sure. It has a large water tank that's clear so you can view how much your brewing from any angle just like the OXO. Brews really hot coffee but the flavor is better in the OXO

 All right, so you can see inside i just dumped it out into one of my planters out here and i have the filter on the other side. I got the hose in my other hand, so i'm trying to do this one-handed so to clean it off. I'M just going to spray it down just like that whoops it wasn't on camera. Here'S the cup that comes with the kit, it has a stanley logo on it, and this is, without a doubt, their famous classic series green finish
