Or at least we hope, our own testing pretty much matches that conclusion but without knowing exactly what to test for it's just a guessing game. But it definitely covers your mouth, it blocks light, it blocks condensation in the cold, it lets air through, it filters sub micron cornstarch, it stays dry when worn unlike cotton and it feels great on the skin. Are we going to keep making masks with it? Probably not, I honestly still prefer medical masks as they are lighter and have a lower pressure drop. But hey in the year of the mask the Ultrasuede was there for us

We're getting really mixed signals on whether we can continue sourcing this. It's absolutely beautiful stuff though the best of cotton and merino knits combined flawlessly to make some of the best cool weather stuff around. We've got enough on hand to do a few experiments but ideally we'll be able to continue sourcing it and grow some of the basics too.

Slim, but not skinny. They look tailored, which is a major plus in our books. The travel pants of yesteryear tend to be loose—think cargo pants—and can’t look sophisticated no matter how hard you try.

The Works silhouette is really great. It’s a classic straight leg pant that sits right at the true waist with a comfortable long rise. I’m one of the frustrated few who can’t fit into the Duckworks because the seat is so flat, and am super pleased that the Bombworks have just enough give to make the pants like a glove in my true size (28). The large beltloops and pocket design are perfectly on point and the whole package, unlike a pair of Dickies or Carhartts, manages to look both elegant and rugged at the same time
