I’ve discussed it a lot on the discord but I have hilariously high hips and this lends to low- and mid-rise pants always feeling off for me. For the FHD’s, however, I feel like I’m wearing pants at the right height for the first time in my life. I’ll definitely be buying more high rise pants from Outlier, glad they’ve been experimenting in a way that feels novel yet comfortably familiar at the same time.

 Overall, these are a really nice and lighter alternative to the regular ultrafine merino wool t-shirts that are 195 Gsm and a bit thicker. but they are especially comfortable for the hotter summer months, particularly if paired with some F cloth pants. Like the future doubts do let me know in the comment below, what are your favorite Merino wool brands and be sure to stay subscribed to. Keep up to date with future videos

 Now the price of these shirts is 88 us dollars, which is again on the higher end but is definitely of the higher quality of wool the material used to make It definitely make it worth the price. I've had many cheaper merino wool garments and the cheaper they are, the lower. the quality of the wall and the lower quality of the wool means it will be itchier or lose its shape and develop holes quicker. These certainly will not have those problems and will last a very long time with proper care

 The nylon blended in with these means they'll be less likely to be eaten by bugs or moths, but I would still recommend putting them into a ziploc bag before putting them into your wardrobe to keep them in the best shape. The nylon also helps make them a little bit more durable. Overall, these are a really nice and lighter alternative to the regular ultrafine merino wool t-shirts that are 195 Gsm and a bit thicker. but they are especially comfortable for the hotter summer months, particularly if paired with some F cloth pants

5 micron merino blended with 25 nylon, so it does feel very lightweight and it is perfect for the warmer weather, working out or even as a base layer. So this also does make a great base layer for layering in winter as it is 75 Moreno which helps give it the excellent thermal properties of wool, which is keeping you cool when it's warm and keeping you warm when it's cold. So the colors I have here are the very nice wine deep in a size small and olive green in the extra small. Like with the ultra fine merino t-shirt that I reviewed earlier, I think that these t-shirts both fit quite well and the sides that you choose will come down to how you intend to wear it or the look you're going for

For a button-up shirt with a collar, we feel like the REI Sahara is astoundingly well-rounded. It's stylish, comfortable, and quite breathable. It has pockets that are large enough to hold a smaller iPhone and sleeves cut with a scoop to cover the backs of the hands. It also features stretchy underarm panels that make this shirt quite comfortable to wear and provide ventilation while preventing underarm rubbing during paddle sports. This shirt is versatile enough that we feel it's a great choice for a full day on the trail that runs straight into a dinner date with girlfriends.
However, the sleeve tabs are a bit too high to be overly functional. That said, once we discovered that the sleeves also stay rolled pretty well without using the sleeve tabs, we didn't mind so much. Our only other complaint is how easily this shirt wrinkles after living in a suitcase for a few days of travel. All in all, though, we are big fans of this shirt and feel it's more versatile than any other shirt in this review. If you want a shirt for your outdoor activities that can also double for Mondays at the office, the Sahara is an excellent choice.

 I withhold a star as the shirt I bought has one small defect I did not notice at the time of purchasing: one of the little straps that holds the sleeves when rolled up, does not have a button hole. Other than that, this is a nice shirt and looks great.

Breathable and light. Good quality.

 long torso. The fit is a bit boxy to my liking, and fabric a bit course. It could be a little bit longer too. But it’s great for field work and keeping me cool in hot summer sun

Boxy but functional

 Colors are pretty true to the photos (Rust Marsala is more of a burnt orange--a little less vibrant than the photo, I think). These are the only field shirts I'll buy!

Relaxed Fit, Actual Pockets!

Shirt fabric is a little heavier than I anticipated and the fit seems a bit "boxy."  I had also ordered the Columbia Silver Ridge Lite Shirt which was lighter and fit better.  Am returning the REI shirt and will get another Columbia shirt.

I love the sleeve design. The pockets are large and I like that. Perfect shirt as a quick cover-up. Crisp white color helps protect you from the sun
