The material on this vest was very flimsy and I was not impressed with the durability of the fabric. The vest sized smaller than large, and was too snug for a 200 pounder like me. REI was very good to accept the return.

 So It has got a good, casual look and feel as well as an adventurous attitude,. really nice, you know, kind of dual purpose vest here with the Transcendent vest.. We Do have a down fill insulation of a 650 fill power, so it is a relatively light, compressible down insu-lation

 You know, a nice com-fortable fit. Like I Said, not to snug, but not very loose at all. Now This down is not treated, so if it gets wet, it is going to lose its insulation properties. So Keep that in mind

 They are really comfortable and cozy and the down insulation is ac-tually on the outside of the pocket so it provides some nice warmth for your hands if you are not wearing gloves.. And One of these pockets, I believe it is the right hand, is reversible, so you can pack this guy inside out onto itself and it will zip up nicely, create a nice pack size, maybe a small travel pillow. And There is a nice hang loop in there as well where you can hang it from a harness if you are climbing with it, so a nice additional bonus to the vest there

I never thought I would buy a vest, but I was goaded by my wife who has a big puffy. This one caught my eye because of its beefy fill power. When I took it out of the bag, my first thought was that it was actually meant as a really thin layering piece. Boy, was I wrong! After fluffing it for a few minutes and leaving it out overnight, the vest showed its true colours

The Tommy Hilfiger Puffer is a stylish, relatively warm, and super comfortable winter jacket at an unbeatable price. In an affordable package, you get enough warmth for most winter days, good looks, comfortable materials, and decent durability. It can't compete with the performance of most other &#40;more expensive&#41; winter jackets on the market, but this one gets the job done for users on the tightest budgets. 
The shell fabric isn't waterproof, which is a relatively big deal. Winter weather is often accompanied by rain and snow, and this jacket won't last long in these conditions. But for chilly fall and spring days, or mild winter days, this jacket is all you'll need. We also wish there were better pockets. Still, we can't complain, given the price point. We have paid more for a pair of our favorite sunglasses than for this stylish jacket.

Looks Good, Keeps You Warm, But There Are Some Issues

 But to me, it just didn't fit true to size. I ordered an XL for my husband who is 5'6" and about 175lbs. He has broad shoulders, simi muscular arms, and a thick chest. The jacket barely touched in the front, there is no way it will zip and fit comfortably

Not exactly true to size

 The waist was also spot on for me. But if your hips are wider than 40", this jacket will not fit when zipped up. The waist area was fine for me. Again, if you have a larger waist than say 38", this might not fit you

 Now the chest area for me was def the tightest part of the jacket to the point I actually considered going with a medium. If your chest size is over 40" then this will not fit you. However I kept the jacket because it's not so tight the jacket can't be zipped, and all the other measurements were spot on. I hope this review helps

 The length of the SMALL jacket from the highest point of the shoulder seam (where the neck starts) to the bottom of jacket is 26 1/2". I don't think this was mentioned anywhere. Now the review. I really like the look and fit of the jacket

 I would highly recommend it. Without a doubt. The price is excellent especially for the warmth. We are in a coastal region in the winter were there are cold winds and low temperatures where it gets cold , but this would work very well still in a snow area

Love X 2! Just as should be, just be aware of...

  Minus 1 star due to the following oddity. Both of the internal pockets have a small 3"-4" gap on the bottom left/right where the pockets were left open that makes not sense at all to me. I put a pair of sunglasses in one of them and just happened notice they fell out onto the floor a minute or so later which is how I found this out. What the heck are they thinking here? (note this has been mentioned elsewhere in various reviews)  I ended up taking it to a local seamstress and having her put a series of stitches on each side to close them up and now all is good with no one knowing the difference save for me
