. i took the lens out very easily and an hour later i was still fiddling with it trying to get it back in. this is not a quick switch solution, I find the crowbar and splice far easier to switch. so if you think you will be encountering different conditions, take 2 sets of goggles

 I did a back to back comparison with my wife who was using Crowbars with a Hi Yellow lens (formerly my favorite flat light lens) on a really snowy no contrast kind of a day and we both agreed that these blew the Hi yellow lens away, it was like night and day. they do have a wider range of light that they work in too, when the sun comes back out you can keep wearing them unless it gets supper sunny. My only complaint is that despite the claims of easy lens switching. i believe Oakley claimed it was like a zip lock bag

It's pretty dark out if the sky is cloudy You're not gonna want to wear these goggles at night for night skiing or snowboarding it's kind of a pain because What if it's snowy out you know and you're trying to ski? But you can't see anything either way if you have your goggles on or off so that was like the only con I've run into right now But in that case if I'm going night skiing I can just wear different goggles that have like a lighter VLT Rating so yeah, that's easily fixed or anything

 Yeah, there's three main things that kind of drew me to the flight deck. I have a more prominent nose, so I feel like the foam just does a really good job at fitting around that, and making sure no air is getting in, it's a really big goggle, so really great peripherals, sideways as well as vertical, and I also love the lens too, just really increasing that contrast, and providing a lot of added saturation as well, which I think is really cool. Was that three? That was three. Nice! Foam? Yeah

 Now the size to be more precise is 3.75 inches high and 7.15 inches wide so that's for your statistics and it's not really sure how much it weighs but it's quite light so it's not going to bother you when it sits on your face and actually that's an interesting point to make right away for all the size and all the you know big front end of the goggles you can see that you know it still has to fit your face so the part that is actually touching your face is actually not that far from you know conventional goggles when you compare it again to these Uvex goggles you can see that you know it's not all that different on the inside. Now like I said the lenses of these goggles are interchangeable so you can get different lenses and change them on the fly and Oakley claims that it's a quick change system but I have to say I'm not entirely convinced about it obviously it does work you can get them on and off but I'll show you how it's done you pretty much pull the frame apart at the edges and then you can sort of peel the lens out like so and then you pull the nose part off there we go and then your bright and shiny lenses are full of fingerprints but then you have the frame left which is super flexible and there you go putting it back in is pretty much the reverse process you know the easiest way is to put in the sides first make sure that is all in place and then you sort of pop the nose part back and pop the top part back as well and then you have even more fingerprints and will require quite a bit of cleaning but there you go so you can change the lenses and all will be well

 Then here on the inside we have sort of a fleece layer that is against your face which is very comfortable gets rid of or absorbs rather a bit of sweat that you'll inevitably will have so that's very nice and as you can maybe see here it's triple layers so you have the fleece here and then two types of foam to make sure it's for maximum comfort and that's you know it's nice and cushiony. Here on the top there is also some sort of foam but that's really to get all the warm air out to make sure your goggles don't steam up which is actually not going to happen anyway because it has something that Oakley calls F3 anti-fog technology which is great. (Updated) The problem with these goggles is the material of the inner lens. The acetate is a thin piece of plastic that easily gets smeared, scratched and hazy. Once that happens the dual lens concept is pointless. Yes, they are very less likely to get foggy, but vision will be compromised

It would be better if the inside lens were also made of polycarbonate as the outer lens. These goggles are also uncomfortable over time because the gasket fits too close around the eye sockets

 Voids and gaps allow wind and dust to get into them. If you sweat a lot or wear them in the rain and are really hot, there can be some fogging and worse, the perspiration or the rain water can get between those lenses and stay stuck there, sloshing around. The inner acetate "lens" (actually just a hard plastic sheet) has to be removed with the water being pressed out. This can cause scratching on the acetate and keep the glasses hazy
