2021 Nitro Squash Split Snowboard Review

 What's up everyone and welcome to my hands-on review for the 2021 Nitro Squash Split.

 I'm Instructor Zom and I'm here to tell you today why this board is going to be your all-mountain

 riding deep powder slashing backcountry dream board you've always wanted.

 The Nitro Squash snowboard has been Nitro's beast of a powerboard for years. So Nitro having that

 same shape in a split version only makes too much sense. They decided to offer it more sizes this

 year in a 153, a 159, and a 163. Me, I was riding a 159 for this review. This split board is a

 directional swallowtail shape which means big nose up front and a perfectly shaped fin in the back

 to keep you floating on top through any depth of snow. When you're looking for a split board,

 the weight of the snowboard is an important part. No worries with this board,

 Nitro has its PowerCore 2 which uses poplar wood that makes it very light under your feet and yet

 unmatched for strength when riding the mountain. Personally, when looking for an all-mountain

 board, traditional camber style is always my go-to. The camber of the Squash gives you that

 solid board control for that advanced terrain but it still gives you that pop and playfulness

 that you're looking for in a freestyle board. When it comes to the riding style for this board,

 this board is rated 10 out of 10 for backcountry, 8 out of 10 for all-mountain. Park, it's rated

 a 2 but to be honest, I've ridden my other Squash through the park on days that I've just ended up

 flex for steep kick turns or if the challenging terrain approaches. So whether you're riding

 through trees or getting face shots down a chute, this board has everything you need to conquer

 the backcountry. Well, that's it. Most of your local shops are already taking pre-orders and

These nitro T hooks are gonna keep the board together, stable, give you a solid ride down.
