This usually gets you in the ballpark, but with a minute or two to go, you might have to stop it or add time. I've been using that method from the beginning, and it has served me well.

After 1 year of use, a few times a month, it died, right after the warranty expired. The power just shut off during cooking and will not turn on again.

When the unit cools down, it’s a hassle to get close. While a patient person wouldn’t mind, it can be annoying. I’d go a different route if you need back to back usage. Would not recommend
