I'm female, 42, never played basketball in my life but these made my ankles feel a lot more stable during lunges, and extremely grippy. On the leg press my feet were able to go much higher, and my feet felt glued to the floor during very heavy barbell hip thrusts. And felt excellent during deadlifts Very snug on the foot. They're comfortable for the time I was in them, but I wouldn't want to wear them if I was on my feet all day because I don't believe these are even meant to be plush; they're a performance shoe

I have one wide foot and I got the Lebron 16 low (which has the same cushion and outsole), and I went a half size up. I heard the regular one is a little roomier so you dont have to go half a size up, but i dont know though. If you have very wide feet Id say the safe bet is to go a half size up, or a full size if its really, really wide, whatever you normally do.

the shoes fits so well, I do recommend getting the exact size you are because you don't want it to slip around, I do recommend it to anyone.

Only lebron's I ever got lebron 16 low atomic violet I ordered them my size I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. Are the 18s the same? Should I order a size up? Also I don't play basketball at all I just want to wear these for style.

I used to get knee pain too, you need a maximum cushioned shoe to minimize that. Outdoor durable shoes with great cushioning are the Lebron 16, Zoom BB Nxt, Zoom Rize, Anta KT4, Peak Taichi Flash 1 and 2, adidas Marquee Boost, and adidas Tmac Millenium (half size down on the last 3). Retros are usually very durable for outdoors as well.

I bought these shoes because they look great and had solid reviews. I am very happy I did because these are the most comfortable shoes I have now, they fit perfect and are true to size. By far my favorite pair of shoes! Thanks Under Armour for an amazing shoe!

In my experience playing outdoors you need to rotate your shoes if you're playing more than twice a week. No amount of cushioning will "recover" if you only wear 1 pair.

These shoes rock in that department. After my disappointment with the Curry 8's and the AJ 35 low's, it was nice to get a shoe that has shown no sign of wear after two and half months of use.

LeBron 16- ridiculous cushion and bounce with thick, hard traction. Lasted me a few months of hard outdoor use.

The traction was almost too good when I first got them. But they eventually smooth out on the high wear areas. And if you euro step they might not hold up on you. They also stretch out over time
