 Please make sure to only buy this shoe from somewhere that you trust because you really don't want to be ripped off a grand or more. That's an insane amount of money to lose. Of course, I've seen that StockX picture circulating where someone said that they had sold like 88 pairs of fakes through StockX. I don't totally believe that

 Let's find out. What's up everybody? I'm Seth Fowler and today I'm reviewing a

 sneaker that I've wanted for a really long time. I missed out on

 every single release, probably like most of you, and I just

 ended up buckling down and paying resale for it. And that sneaker is obviously the

 The Air Jordan 1 Travis Scott is one of the most anticipated sneakers of the year

 and now that it's out, it's one of the most expensive as well. Even though this

 shoe is just technically an Air Jordan 1, there are so many details on the sneaker

 that really make it original and really make it something special.

 But jumping into the sneaker itself, if you couldn't already figure it out from

 the name, this sneaker is a collaboration with

 Travis Scott and Jordan Brand. And this isn't actually the first collab with

 Travis Scott and Jordan Brand or even Nike for that matter. There was a Travis

 Scott Air Jordan 4 that released last year and some Air Force 1s as well. I

 kind of feel like Nike and Jordan Brand are trying to build up the same amount

 of hype around Travis Scott that they had when Kanye was with them. And to be

 perfectly honest, I think they're doing a great job. I love the sneakers that are

 coming out of this collaboration, but Travis Scott is not as influential as

 Kanye and there are a lot more of these shoes available than the Yeezys, so for

 that reason I don't think any of the Travis Scotts will ever be on that same

 sort of grail status level that the Nike Yeezys are. But that being said, the Air

 Jordan 1 is my favorite silhouette of all time and

 kind of never collabed on an Air Jordan 1. So I think for me,

 Travis Scott might actually have a leg up. I know that's like totally blasphemous

 I think I actually prefer this shoe. So jumping into the materials of the shoe,

 you have this dark almost chocolate covered nubuck covering the toe guard

 and a large portion of the shoe. Even though this material is nubuck and

 obviously not as premium as suede, it still has a really nice feel to it

 and I don't mind the switch. In the center of the toe, you've got this white

 tumbled leather panel which creates a nice contrast with the brown. Moving up

 the shoe, you've got more of that chocolate colored nubuck reinforcing the

 lace eyelets. Out of every shoe that I've reviewed on

 this channel, I think the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1s have come with the most

 lace options out of the box. It came with five different sets of laces in all

 different colors. It's absolutely crazy. You've got the black laces that come

 already started in the eyelet of the shoe. You've got brown laces, red laces,

 white laces, and pink laces. And honestly, I've seen a lot of people

 wearing the pink laces especially at Sneaker Con Shanghai

 and I really like that look so I think I might actually switch it out. Needless to

 say, there's no shortage of lace color options with the Travis Scott Air Jordan

 1. Underneath the laces, however, you have a standard white Air Jordan 1 tongue

 that's accented by this black piping around the edge. And then in the center

 of the tongue, you've got your Nike Air logo with red text

 and on the lateral side of that tag, you've got a pretty large black cactus

 jack logo with red text. Moving inside the sneaker, you've got what

 appears to be a standard black sock liner, but if you look at the edges of it,

 you'll notice that there's actually some velcro. And if you peel back the velcro,

 which you can actually do all the way around the top of the ankle,

 you'll find a hidden pocket. Now, what the stash pocket's for,

 I have no idea. I could only guess or imagine.

 But the pocket actually has this really nice lining that comes in red,

 which I didn't expect. Then finishing off the inside of the shoe, the insole comes

 in white with the Nike Air logo printed in red on the left shoe

 and the cactus jack logo printed in red on the right shoe. Continuing back on the

 lateral side of the sneaker, you have more of that white tumbled leather on

 the midfoot. And then you get to the signature detail of the shoe, the
