I’m about to try the New Balance Two WXY. I got an amazing deal. Bought 3 pairs for $150 in the NB store. They are known for being very durable outdoor shoe to ball in! Can’t beat that deal!

I’m looking into buying some shoes that I would strictly use for outdoor courts.  I have a normal sized foot/width and wouldn’t be playing more than twice a week.

I have only purchased indoor shoes back in the high school &amp; aau days and almost always got Nikes.

Any suggestions would help

Outdoor Shoe Recommendations

New Balance Two Wxy. Highly underrated shoe. I’m 6’2 and weigh 215, so I understand the need for impact support and ankle support.

What’s the best hoop shoe I can get performance wise for 150$ or less that can support a bigger guy? For reference, I’m around 195lbs and muscular but only about 5’7”. Looking for impact absorption and ankle support mainly. Bonus points if they’re also stylish!

 And these guys just didn't bother me whatsoever. This is what I was hoping last year's model was going to be and it's exactly what I wanted out of last year's model right now. So I'm super happy with these things I just absolutely love them. The material is very similar to last year's but they're calling it Battle 2

 so rubber itself is very hard, so if you wanted to use them outdoors, you can. Not only is it going to be more durable than stuff from the past, but it's also gonna grip well as well. Just know that when you do finally burn through that rubber, it's going to pop the air units, so just keep that in mind. There's no timetable for how long rubber actually lasts, but for as long as it will last, you're gonna receive some spectacular traction

 So I did not have any instability issues like it did last year. So whether we're talking about just a quick change of direction, a quick stop, maybe a step back or two right here, just no issues whatsoever. able to do anything that you kind of want to do and again, it's not lacking any cushion, which is awesome. There's no mid foot torsional support but the air units all in there and it's all one piece

 Cushion on these guys is primarily the same thing that we saw last year on the Nike LeBron 15, but this year the whole setup is just way more stable. It's not because of the air units itself, it's because of everything that they've done around the air unit. They've dropped the midsole just a little bit. not significantly, but just enough to where you feel a little bit more stable

Nike LeBron 16 Performance Review

I have one wide foot and I got the Lebron 16 low (which has the same cushion and outsole), and I went a half size up. I heard the regular one is a little roomier so you dont have to go half a size up, but i dont know though. If you have very wide feet Id say the safe bet is to go a half size up, or a full size if its really, really wide, whatever you normally do.

LEBRON 16S

Only lebron's I ever got lebron 16 low atomic violet I ordered them my size I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. Are the 18s the same? Should I order a size up? Also I don't play basketball at all I just want to wear these for style.

New Releases Thread 9/27 - 10/3

I used to get knee pain too, you need a maximum cushioned shoe to minimize that. Outdoor durable shoes with great cushioning are the Lebron 16, Zoom BB Nxt, Zoom Rize, Anta KT4, Peak Taichi Flash 1 and 2, adidas Marquee Boost, and adidas Tmac Millenium (half size down on the last 3). Retros are usually very durable for outdoors as well.

5'8" 165lbs Size 10.5 wide and flat-ish feet

Just like to shoot around by myself at outdoor courts but actually get a workout in and play aggressive. I honestly don't keep up with sneaker fashion or bball shoes at all so kind of lost here. Last two pairs I owned were Lebron 4's back in college and Jordan SC1's which actually held up well but dying on me. Noticed my knees were starting to hurt more even with light activity but especially on the landing after a jumpshot or rebound. I always wore high tops but don't have ankle issues, I just assumed they were better in general? So basically just want something durable and excellent comfort with arch support or should I get an insole for that?

Also I fucking loved the Lebron 4's they were so comfortable....does anyone make something similar or has foamposite fallen out? I loved the separate mesh lining too

Complete noob here, looking for suggestions/help for new outdoor shoes

 In my experience playing outdoors you need to rotate your shoes if you're playing more than twice a week. No amount of cushioning will "recover" if you only wear 1 pair.

I've used a pair of Lebron 16's outdoors for 3 years and it's cushioning started to bottom out a few months ago. I bought a pair of 16 lows used for about $50 and have been using them more. In my experience playing outdoors you need to rotate your shoes if you're playing more than twice a week. No amount of cushioning will "recover" if you only wear 1 pair
