 You can see from the back and the front kind of figure out a lot of readers have requested this from me so I'm trying to do it for you. Just about 27 when you look down to the you know the bottom of the edge. So let me do that again. Yeah probably just about 27 maybe a little less and then just about 26

Never Summer West Bound 2020 On The Table

 The Never Summer Westbound. Been wanting to get on this for a while and finally

 got to borrow it for a little bit and putting some days on it. Still kind of in

 the middle of it all but here's my take. You can see it's really not much like

 the West. You know there was the Cobra. The Cobra was just a touch more

 directional than the West. Had a little more setback on board. Had rocker and

 camber instead of the rip saw profile but they had similar shapes and they

 were kind of you know they had probably more a decent amount more similarities

 than differences. Now the Westbound is completely different from both of them.

 It really takes a lot of that Shaper series and puts it into a whole new kind

 of West. It's just a completely different board. First off you can see you know

 there's a pointy longer nose than the tail and there's taper. I think about six

 mil of taper or something like that. Five I think five mil and you can see that

 and you can feel it in powder. I've got this in some decent powder and you can

 see from the footage above. Then you have a varied camber profile. Now this one

 seems to have a lot of rocker as you can see but your board might be different

 than the board I have because wood cures differently especially so with hybrid

 rocker. You know but it does the same with camber. Sometimes one board will

 have a lot more camber and another one will have a lot less but that's just

 because wood cures differently. You can see though this has the rip saw camber

 profile off the back foot. So if you like to lean back and carve off your back

 foot which most of you do that's how we ride these tapered directional board a

 lot of tapered directional boards. It's more work on the back leg on groomers

 and less off the back leg in powder and so it's got that rip saw camber profile

 for a little pop off a little more pop and a little more drive out of the tail.

 Then it's got this mellow elliptical camber that just kind of like seems to

 almost like early rise up before the tip. So it really gives you some you know a

 very directional feel compared to the old like twin ish west and like and

 twin ish kind of like twin ish bordering on directional Cobra. So you know but

 again it's just it's definitely more different. It feels a lot more like a

 you know like a more surfy chairman almost but it's it's got a lot of its

 own personality. It's it's hard to put this in it in one single area but it's

 definitely more directional more free ride oriented board. Let's get into going

 on with the widths here. You can see from the back and the front kind of figure

 out a lot of readers have requested this from me so I'm trying to do it for you.

 footprint that you have. But the westbound you know has a kind of it's

 getting more into that free ride side of things. It's definitely more set back on

 board than all mountain. If you want to set it all the way back with traditional

 discs and NeverSummer likes that you use traditional discs you know full-size

 discs not mini discs. Some companies are against it some aren't NeverSummer is. So

 best to follow their recommendations. If you set it all the way back you're

 looking at 21.75 which is a pretty good set back on board and then you know or

 which is pretty good all the way back stance. And then if you're looking at the

 difference between nose to the back insert and tail to the back insert

 you're looking at four inches and you're looking at a total set back on board

 from center when set all the way back is two inches. So that's pretty good that's

 better than most all mountain boards not as good as some but better. But then you

 factor factor in the taper the mellow camber on the front and that early rise

 and the bigger nose than tail all of that seems to you know make for a pretty
