 Edge holds good, they're always just good, bordering on great with NeverSummer, it grips well. And turn initiation, it's pretty fast edge-to-edge, it's medium-fast, with the 160 versus the 157, 157 was a little faster, but it's great for people who are just going in and out of trees, weaving in around bumps, and that kind of stuff, if you need that quick edge-to-edge turn initiation, it's good. And then when you get out into that carve, yeah, you have to lean back a little bit more than you would, let's say the Old West, but getting that full camber off the tail and just leaning into it and how it springs out of the turn, I felt like it's comparable to some, almost up there with the way it springs out of the turn, like some mostly camber snowboards. Kind of up there, sometimes it feels more camber-rich than a lot of those hybrid cambers that have a good bit of early rocker

 As far as the shape goes, tapered, directional, it's like 6mm taper, and it's got that kind of Shaper Series camber profile that has kind of rip saw off the back, going to a little rocker in the middle, a mellow rocker in the middle, and then a mellow elliptical camber, which makes it pretty forgiving, just about anybody can... A beginner with a shit ton of cash could get on this, and it skids turns super easy, but it likes a little more weight on the back foot, on groomers, and then doesn't burn as much in powder

Nitro - Nomad Splitboard

 The Nomad has a directional splitboard shape so it's got a longer nose and tail giving you more float in the pow. The Nomad has a flat out rocker which means the board is flat underfoot making it very versatile and forgiving and also early lifting the nose and tail to make it easier to split up. You're not going to catch your contact point as much and you're also going to get more float in the powder. It has a mid-wide width which makes it nice for splitboarding because you get more surface area underfoot so you get more float and it also makes it easier on the way up

 Super friendly and forgiving and really nice for the walk up because you're going to get a nice grip at the center of the side cut. It has our power core which is a tip-to-tail poplar wood core, super lightweight and very snappy. It uses our premium FH extruded base which is this beautiful base right here. Extruded bases are nice on splitboards because when you're splitboarding you're going to hit some stuff and you're going to get some gouges in your base so you want a base that's easy to maintain and repair and that's what this base is

 You're going to get more edge hold. It has an all-terrain flex, our radial side cut which is a side cut that is one long radius from contact point to contact point, one long radius. Super friendly and forgiving and really nice for the walk up because you're going to get a nice grip at the center of the side cut. It has our power core which is a tip-to-tail poplar wood core, super lightweight and very snappy

2021 Nitro Nomad Splitboard Snowboard Review

 It's a little softer than our doppelganger. It has a directional splitboard shape obviously. It's a mid-wide. It has our all-terrain flex which is great in any terrain, stiff enough to go fast as hell and soft enough to be playful

 One of the coolest features on our splitboards is we use our T7075 aluminum hooks which are raised a little bit and they're raised because then you do not get the holes from the inserts on the base so you get a nice clean base and it will not wear. This is the new 2016 Nitro Nomad.
