I am looking for a canvas printing service that prints in high quality, is inexpensive (as I will be ordering 9 prints), and has a finish that will eliminate glare from the sun. 

I have used Nations Photo Lab and they exceeded my expectations and produced extremely high quality prints that make me not want to order from any other printing service, though it was quite expensive. Even with a 30% discount the total for the 9 prints comes to $520.80 (yikes!)

Only the prices charged by Editors' Choice winners Printique and Mpix are comparable, but Nations charges the most among services we tested. The best deals on 5-by-7s and 8-by-10s are from Amazon Prints, which charges 58 cents and $1.79, respectively. Walmart Photo isn&rsquo;t far behind, charging 69 cents for 5-by-7s

Nations charges more for the standard 4-by-6 print than most of the competition at 32 cents each or 56 cents with color correction. &nbsp;Occasional special discounts can put the price far below those figures, though. Nations recommends using its color correction unless you calibrate your monitor with specific ICC profiles.

The lowest-price photo printing service I tested, Snapfish, charges only 9 cents for 4-by-6 photos. Nations&rsquo; 5-by-7s cost a reasonable $1.25 ($1.69 with color correction) and the 8-by-10s are $2

In the landscape shot below, the Walmart Photo print is not as sharp as the CVS Photo, Snapfish, or Target Photo prints, though it&rsquo;s clearly much better than the Amazon print.

Like many online photo printing services, Walmart uses Fuji Crystal Archive paper, which delivers good image quality. However, I prefer Kodak's thicker, sturdier Endura paper&mdash;which Nations Photo Lab and Printique use&mdash;because it often produces better image quality and is rated to last 100 years (200 years in dark storage). On the back of each photo, Walmart prints an inscrutable number code with the date, along with &ldquo;Printed by Walmart.com

 This time around, the Walmart Photos packaging improved over my last test in 2020, when the 8-by-10s were loose in the main envelope.

The Walmart Photo site is clear and well designed. When choosing print options, you can select multiple prints and print sizes for each image in one step, and the individual and tally price is always displayed, which I like. You don't have to go back through the process multiple times for each print size, as you do with Nations Photo Lab. Walmart's shipping package is equivalent to what Shutterfly and Snapfish offer, and better than the thin paper envelope Target Photos uses
