Most times when I'm heading out for longer runs, I'll wear a hydration pack, a liter and a half or more of fluids. and sometimes when you're going out for just an hour so you need something like this, a small hand bottle. It's taken me a little while to get around to reviewing it because it was a lot different from other handballs I've tried

 so when you're running, you don't even have to really hold on to this. It stays on by itself. Also, it stays cool on the back because it has breathable mesh here and features this strap which allows you to tighten or loosen the bottle as you need to. The bottle also features what they call the race cap which makes it really easy to drink from

 and sometimes when you're going out for just an hour so you need something like this, a small hand bottle. It's taken me a little while to get around to reviewing it because it was a lot different from other handballs I've tried. I really wanted to give it a good try before I reviewed it. Right off the bat, you'll notice this is not a conventional bottle shape

Great sized water bottle! It leaks a little bit, especially if I use it with a carbonated drink or supplement, but the shape is very comfortable to carry, and the adjustable strap keeps it close to my hand. This is perfect for runs of up to about 6 miles. The speed draw is great! Despite a little leaking, the positives are clear.

The water bottle and pouch are great! First, the pouch fit everything I needed - it fit my iPhone 13 Pro, plus a protein bar, a Liquid IV hydration packet, and my ID and keys. Light weight - very easy to carry - perfect for trail runs because if happen to trip on one the always present obstacles (rocks,roots, ruts) use this water bottle as first contact with the ground saves your from hand cuts and scrapes !

 I was really hoping the yeti was made in USA but it’s only designed in the states. The Coldest Water brand is the exact same but it’s $30 cheaper bc it’s a less known brand. AND it also has a straw so you don’t have to lift the entire gallon over your head to get a sip. The stainless steel gallon with water in it is very heavy

 In any case, which ever one you get, it’s a very good investment bc bpa from plastic is highly cancerous. You don’t even know if the water inside plastic bottles are what they say they are. These bottles are out in the sun on pallets at the markets. Please switch over to stainless steel, whatever brand, to avoid bpa

 For $130 it better be flawless. Then I discovered the Coldest Water brand. Same design, almost identical. I ordered it and sure enough it was the same structure as the Yeti

Leaky Yeti

I'm a carpenter and my stuff has to be tuff because it's always getting banged up on a job site. This thing is awesome! I keep iced tea in it and the ice will still be there on day two. I don't regret this purchase one bit! Update.

 Being heavier and much larger than any of the bottles I see an even greater need to slip the rambler into silicone casing - also easing its wear on surfaces it is placed- always have to be so careful when it is filled with ice water and even heavier to put more effort into gently placing it on the wood floor, nicer countertops, glass side table, etc.

Already reviewed this to be a great water jug- but I am hoping representatives at Yeti or another company notice this comment and take action.. Stainless steel insulated bottles are amazing and Yeti does quality work, but things happen and the other vacuum insulated bottles I own eventually take a tumble or get knocked against camping gear while packed in the back. Currently there is no portable protection for this and I am begging someone create a simple silicone mold for this rambler as so many companies have already been selling silicone molds for 40oz and even 64oz bottles, to which have saved many of my accessories from dents and scratches

Awesome product but needs a case companion to keep it in pristine condition.

  For the cost, I would absolutely recommend finding something with a better design and skip the Yeti.

Sure, it keeps stuff cold/hot, but if you can’t open it, why buy it?

I'm going to be returning this and most likely purchasing 2 smaller yeti bottles instead just for the ease of use. Or I may explore other options.

Overall, if you are getting this container for the purpose its intended to, then you will love it and the price tag will be worth it. For casual daily use it probably won't work out.

Not practical for typical use

 Kept my water cold for hours. Returned this item because it was too heavy for travel and bring to work. I got the 64 oz instead which is my ideal size for on the go.

Buy once, cry once! Cheaper is always more expensive! The RTIC gallon is what it is and can hold a gallon (awkwardly). Then I got this yeti and want turn back!  RTIC has a lame lid and tough to close with a small spout to try drinking from. The RTIC lid in thin and cheap. Yeti is easy to open with the cap being magnetic, sticking to the other side conveniently

*Biggest thing- The RTIC doesn't hold one gallon. The RTIC only hold about 116oz. The YETI holds 128 oz.

*Third thing is the weight- RTIC is lighter and smaller that the YETI. RTIC weights about 2.1 lbs while the YETI clocks in at 4.1 lbs
