So it's a really functional vest, lot of space, lot of storage, variable types of pockets depending on what you're going to need it for and we're excited to be testing this as well as the 12 liter which is the larger of the two but this line of the vest from Nathan are their lighter weight ones meant for that performance day and racing but I can tell you already the comfort of it would allow it to perform even just for going out on long runs on the weekends

 This is their Pinnacle 4L Vest, the racing vest, it's a lightweight vest and I'm just

 going to show you a couple of the pockets and kind of the functionality of it.

 So they're just starting off in the front.

 This vest does come with two small water bottles in the front.

 So they are bladders that will empty as you're drinking through the straws that are close

 to your mouth and easy to access as you have the vest on on your run.

 And then this thing is just filled with pockets.

 So there's a couple of kangaroo pockets, some of them you can access from the side here

 and it's a nice bigger pocket here and then there's a vertical pocket in the top if you

At 6’ 4” tall and 215 lbs, I’m a pretty big trail runner. For the last few years, I’ve been running in another brand’s vest, size “L/XL”. It has worked for me, but I’ve always felt it was a bit small. When I heard Nathan had introduced a vest cut longer in the back and available in a size “XL”, I decided to give it a try

 I should mention that my chest measures 40” at the sternum and I wear a size 44 suit jacket. The Nathan sizing chart would have me in a size M or L, but I bought the XL regardless. I find this new vest to be only slightly larger than the vest I have been using. I’ll use it of course but, if anyone should offer an XXL, a bit bigger around and perhaps an inch longer yet, I’d buy it

How About an XXL?

 A hydration vest is one of the more expensive pieces of running gear that you're going to purchase. This one retails for 200 US dollars and based on the fit, the feel, and its performance, I think it's worth the investment. Hey, thanks for making it to the end of the video. I hope you enjoyed it

 It goes about, oh, I would say maybe half way down, so right about here. You can store all kinds of stuff in there. I like to put my gloves in that pocket, it just makes it easy for me to get to them, but you could put a hat, you could put really basically anything you wanted, and it's going to be comfortable. It fits that perfectly, so it's just a nice place for me to be able to keep that

 Nathan describes it basically as a second skin, and it really is. It's super comfortable, I didn't have it bouncing around, and that's one of the things that just drives me crazy when I'm trying to onboard, whether or not it's nutrition or hydration, is when it bounces around, but you don't have to worry about that with this vest because I didn't have any of that, and the more I wore it, the less I noticed it was there, it really just becomes a part of you.
