Is it watertight? Yes, is it reusable yes and bpa free, which is an essential? Is it durable? Yes, is it reasonably priced? Yes, it was less than 20 bucks. Is it easy to clean the wide mouth? Certainly, is you can fit a bottle brush in that easily? You can put this in the dishwasher actually as well. I would recommend top rack only, of course, simply because of the plastic lid

 The main issue is the mold that keeps growing on the cap. I use this as my main water bottle every day and I have to wash the lid every other day to get rid of the mold smell, but it just keeps coming back. Makes me feel like I’m exposing myself to a lot of mold spores on a daily basis which is toxic to your body over time. The other big problem is that it’s not a standard water bottle size, it’s too wide to fit in the cup holder in cars and in the side cup pocket on backpacks (I’ve tried multiple)

 I needed a bottle with a secure lid that won’t let bugs or grass clippings blow in AND keeps the water cold AND won’t sweat all over the place. Finally found one that checks all the boxes. AND this one fits in my cup holder - in my Honda CRV and the riding mower.  Also

 I only put 5 ice cubes because the ice doesn’t melt in one day - it stays THAT cold.  I have a large yard (Florida panhandle) to take care of so I drink LOTS of water.  Also, there's been quite a few times when water has spille from the spout lid coming loose, so I wish it would snap in place or somehow show when it is loose. Every single one of my bottles has lost the bumper, the last one just from carrying it to the gym by the top handle (which is great); it was gone by the time I got to the treadmill. Overall, however, it's easy to keep clean, keeps water cold, and is very durable without being too heavy.

The overall design of this bottle is great, but I have a free promotional cup that keeps things colder than this bottle does.  It does keep things colder than if there they were just in a plastic bottle, but the 24 hr thing is a definite overstatement and ice still melts in them as well.  The handle is nice and I like the way the cap screws down over the part you drink out of, so I'm never putting my mouth on a dirty bottle when I carry it in my kayak.  This bottle would be a 10 if it kept things colder, but since that's the whole purpose I think three stars is pretty generous

Not the same as older water bottles.  This is thinner, lighter weight, does not hold ice without melting as long as the water bottles I bought several years ago.  Same price, just cutting corners on quality.

Good for about eight months then lid leaks. Required to purchase new o rings and pay for shipping to Canada. So much for lifetime warranty. If you live in Canada would not recommend as parts not available here

 The Klean Kanteen fits this criteria, but they don't currently have a wide mouth 32oz. Even then, their standard wide mouth loop opening is still too small to carry it with more than one of my fingers and I've dropped my bottle many times due to this.  I was looking for something that met the following: a lid which fully covers the bottle opening, like a Klean Kanteen, but with a loop at the top that lets me carry it with more than one finger-- like the Yeti. I also prefer a wider opening like the Yeti; the Klean Kanteen is just too narrow for me to comfortably drink out of

 I'm going to see how it holds up to rougher environments which are where I'm usually lugging these to, such as offshore fishing, landscaping, tree work, etc. With the excellent lid design and at a little over half the price of the 36 oz. Yeti bottle, I'm more than willing to take a chance on this one.

  I was looking for something that met the following: a lid which fully covers the bottle opening, like a Klean Kanteen, but with a loop at the top that lets me carry it with more than one finger-- like the Yeti. I have a Yeti 18oz and a Klean Kanteen 20 oz. but wanted to have something with larger capacity. Why not another Yeti bottle? There is a lot of bias for and against them, but quantitatively the Yeti bottles have better construction than the majority of competitors-- thicker side walls, lids that are more substantial with better insulation and better sealing rings. However, if you ever drop your Yeti bottle in some mud, or have it rolling around somewhere that's less than clean you’ll understand why someone would want the bottle opening fully covered
