Mystery Ranch Tower 47
definitely worth it
Haven't found anything I don't like about the pack, except that I am skinny so the straps are kind of long lol. I've taken it on 3-4 climbing trips now. I love the webbing straps which can secure a stick clip really well, the side handle while I'm at the air port, the top pocket, all the pocket stas...

Topo Designs Rover Pack Review (Classic) | Pack Hacker
The built-in laptop sleeve has minimal padding and will rely on whatever you pack inside the main compartment for cushioning. During our time with the pack, we opted to use a dedicated laptop sleeve of our own, as the back panel didn’t have much in the way of padding. We used a 15-inch laptop, and it was a tight fit with a separate laptop sleeve thrown into the mix

Hiking

Mystery Ranch Tower 47
Packs great!
I bought this because my old pack was a bomb pack I had for 15 years. This feels exactly the same but lighter. The obvious upgrade/advantage is this pack is perfectly thought out to be a climbing specific pack. I put it through a very long and steep approach today and it performed beautifully.

Looks great, not great for hiking
Love the brand and have a ton of stuff from them. Use the mountain briefcase daily for work. Used this bag last weekend for travel and then for a 12mi hike.
Material is great, looks really cool, fits a lot, I got separate sternum strap from topo which worked great.
Not really built for hiking...
