WE DID NOT EXPECT THIS! MIZUNO JPX921 IRONS TESTED

 That had a little bit more of a crack to the noise when I hit the iron but felt just as good as the Tour. That feels really nice. Yeah very good. Feel wise, very similar to the Tour

 Last one to test is this, the Hot Metal. I think these two, Hot Metal Pro and Hot Metal, are going to be super popular. This is the biggest head, the chunkiest sole. Again for a 79 this is 29 degrees of loft

 Okay first hole I'm going to play is this Par 3 11th hole Marriott Worsley Park. It's 165 yards. Now these lofts are very true lofted and what I mean by that the seven iron is 34 degrees so I'm not expecting these clubs to go a million miles not in this lineup anyway to get a little bit stronger in those other irons I mentioned before. So I'm just going to hit a little seven here

 A lot of people on the internet get very excited about new Mizuno irons. Well today I've got four brand new sets to test and we've taken out on the golf course a new 921 range of Mizuno irons. So there are four new sets of irons from Mizuno. These are the JPX 921 lineup

 Let's give the Hot Metal a hit. I've never hit this iron yet so you're going to get my initial thoughts. That was such a good flight. There's an instant difference in feel compared to these two sets, the Tour and the Forged

 Let's now go outside in the outdoor teaching bay. Let's go see how they look behind a golf ball, and more importantly, how they feel. Cremoli this year, not 1025V with a bit of boron, so it'll be interesting to see how they feel. Let's go outside there, then we'll come back in here, do some proper premium golf ball testing to see how these now fall with a Cremoli forge in rather than 1025V

 So it's very much so built around the player and what they require from the club. Yeah. So descent angle was 48.7

Love the utility iron. Solid feel. Added a graphite shaft in he end to improve the weight to fit my personal preference.

 It has got tungsten in there to aid launch. It's a 1020 carbon steel framework and it's got a sub 10 face, which is designed to give you more ball speed off the face. Aid that launch and just get you carrying it a little bit further. So far, I'm impressed

 So I'm really excited to get these tested. So all that means is it's time to set up quad, get some balls out. Let's get some numbers and see how these new ZX utility irons actually perform. Okay, so four irons to start with

 So what that's designed to do is to give you more ball speed off the face, so this face becomes a little bit more springy. So it is multi-material design. It has got tungsten in there to aid launch. It's a 1020 carbon steel framework and it's got a sub 10 face, which is designed to give you more ball speed off the face

Srixon ZX Utility Iron Review | GC QUAD Testing & Feedback

 Oh, I'll just rip that straight out of the box. That's beautiful. Such a good ball flight. The flight that I'll be looking at, you know, it's that penetration you see with that utility iron

 So the F5 is an X flex for me and a midsize grip. So it specs up to me. And that felt really quite nice. I do prefer that probably that graphite shaft in this in this utility and those long irons just makes a little bit easier in terms of forgiveness and also a little bit of speed as well

 I'm just going to try and just move this ball back in. I'm going to try and stay over this a little bit longer, try and control that and just hit that a little bit more of a lower ball flight. Oh, that's beautiful. That's really, really good
