If you go take a look at our quick hit on the manal daily original versus the 3

 For that pocket with that key clip and then just yeah ample space there so i'll just zip that back up and then we'll pop into this top pocket too. So i've got just a battery bank in here, but it can hold so much more in that top pocket see if i can get the camera here is getting a little tight, but that's kind of a really big shell, like brain area up here at the top. I mean i could probably stick my uh like rain shell in here too, if you really want to start getting it optimized and that the bottom of that pocket goes to here. So that's kind of the bigger volume of the two

 So let me just zip that, but actually first, let's go over the front pockets, so this curved spot up here has these two front pockets. So you have two front dump pockets here, which i like these zippers are far enough apart to where you can tell them apart quite nicely. If you really wanted to hack it, you could throw on like your own colored. Zipper pulls and know that like red is the top yellow is the bottom, but i think they've done a good job at spacing this out

 So you just kind of thread this through and then you'd have. This strap hold the laptop closer in and then you've got this separate partition. Here you could throw like a notebook in there, but primarily it's for like a tablet and that just keeps things centered. So if you end up dropping your bag on the side or the top or the bottom or this side, that laptop is going to be as centered as possible within the bag, so it just absorbs that shock on the side

 Um, it hurts my back so I think this might hold up better. Let me go over the the pockets and stuff of this backpack. Um, first of all, this has a little shoe compartment at the bottom. you can put whatever the heck you want in here so let me just unzip that

 There is padding for the comfort. There is padding on the straps for comfort. There is, uh, there are chest straps and I think that's it. So overall, I am very happy with the features

 But when I wear backpacks anywhere, I'm always afraid that people might secretly unzip my backpack and take things out of it. So I'm all about a hidden quick access backpack, but I think this is a great compromise. and then back here here is one that is lined with a soft material that's probably for things like sunglasses or I guess your phone or whatever is a an item that you want to try to protect from you know, rubbing against your keys and whatnot. And then also back here is for the laptop and what shocked me about this was that I recently got this bad boy which is I think 17 17

I loved the concept of this bag. How great ! 3 bags in one. Unfortunately the zipper situation is a bit out of control. When in 5° mode the are 2 zippers to go through before you get out for your mid-night relief

Cool concept, bad execution

I recently got this bag for a weekend backpacking trip in the NC mountains. Temperature got down to about 15 degrees F and I was nice and warm with the 5 degree set up. I am a hot sleeper so I was worried than the 5 degree would be too much but it was fine and I did not sweat. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the zippers get stuck very easily so I am a little worried about the long term durability of the lining

Almost Perfect

 I especially like the multiple secure pockets for devices. The color is great and the storage pocket is a nice touch that doesn't get in the way when I'm not using it. It's held up really well over the last few months of using it on a daily basis.

Phenomenal backpack! Shoe compartment holds an extra pair (W US 10.5) for travel, lunch bag for work commute. Very roomy, efficient use of pockets for additional storage. Lightweight and comfortable to wear

The perfect backpack!

 It makes the pack wonky and it won't set down well unless it's SUPER packed. If it's super packed, it bulges upward into the main compartment and cuts the room in that part down so much you can barely fit anything in it. I bought it for my carry-on for a trip to Europe and ended up not using it because it was awkward and didn't hold much at all. Now I am stuck with it since it's been a tad over the 60 days and NF won't take it back
