If you go take a look at our quick hit on the manal daily original versus the 3

 For that pocket with that key clip and then just yeah ample space there so i'll just zip that back up and then we'll pop into this top pocket too. So i've got just a battery bank in here, but it can hold so much more in that top pocket see if i can get the camera here is getting a little tight, but that's kind of a really big shell, like brain area up here at the top. I mean i could probably stick my uh like rain shell in here too, if you really want to start getting it optimized and that the bottom of that pocket goes to here. So that's kind of the bigger volume of the two

 So let me just zip that, but actually first, let's go over the front pockets, so this curved spot up here has these two front pockets. So you have two front dump pockets here, which i like these zippers are far enough apart to where you can tell them apart quite nicely. If you really wanted to hack it, you could throw on like your own colored. Zipper pulls and know that like red is the top yellow is the bottom, but i think they've done a good job at spacing this out

 So you just kind of thread this through and then you'd have. This strap hold the laptop closer in and then you've got this separate partition. Here you could throw like a notebook in there, but primarily it's for like a tablet and that just keeps things centered. So if you end up dropping your bag on the side or the top or the bottom or this side, that laptop is going to be as centered as possible within the bag, so it just absorbs that shock on the side

However, three out of the four sleeves don’t have any closure. As a result, the tech accessories we keep inside are continually slipping out as the bag gets jostled around and opened up

The overall boxy design of the Rains Backpack means it pairs well with pouches, organizers, packing cubes, and anything else that comes with a squared-off design. Water bottles also fit inside nicely if they sat flush to one side and wedged in by other stuff in the pack. It’s no travel bag that can swallow up your entire closet, but it’s enough for your everyday items like a jacket, notebooks, some textbooks, and a packed lunch. 

 Unfortunately, the shoulder straps themselves are thin and do not distribute load very well on your shoulders. Sure they look nice—but this is one area where less doesn’t mean more.

 Starting with the front, we have a very subtly printed reins logo here that has a little bit of reflective detailing. We'Ve also got a front zippered compartment that utilizes a waterproof zipper. It'S for quick access. The zipper also has polyurethane zipper pulls the depth of the compartment goes to about here, so just shy from the bottom of the bag

 This is my 13 inch MacBook Pro retina. It fits in there. Fine, it's important to note that this laptop compartment is lightly padded and it is suspended from the bottom of the back. So there is a bit of impact protection in the case that you accidentally drop this bag

 The snap buttons at the top of the roll top plus the roll top itself, and also the polyurethane exterior, really helps prevent water from getting inside the main compartment. Now inside the main compartment, there are no further pockets, it doesn't have access to the laptop compartment. That'S a separate compartment in love itself and so I've just chucked in a whole slew of items inside I've got my Patagonia better sweater jacket. I'Ve got my Maxpedition emergency kit

 If we take a close look to the top of the roll top, we can see that it's been snapped shut by these button snaps. This really helps seal off the main compartment and help Gus at the top of the main compartment, so that water won't get inside the compartment, which is really helpful. The snap buttons at the top of the roll top plus the roll top itself, and also the polyurethane exterior, really helps prevent water from getting inside the main compartment. Now inside the main compartment, there are no further pockets, it doesn't have access to the laptop compartment

Ideal For Cyclists - The Rains Rolltop Rucksack

 I don't necessarily need two black backpacks and this velvet color it's just like it's giving so really happy with that one, and i love green. So this color is also great for me and i, as i said biggest sell for me, is the laptop pouch on the side. If this bag, the velvet looking one had a laptop pouch on the inside and maybe a bit more cushioning in the straps, it would be flawless. Maybe the the regular size msn is like that um

 I don't know what i mean. I could probably figure out from the tag um what material that they're using, but basically this one is yeah. The tag says: msn bag mini and the color is velvet black, and that's why i really love it, because i saw that they had black and they had two black bags and one was kind of like a dull color and the other one was this one, and On the website i was like wow that looks shiny. I wonder if it's patent um, but when it arrived, it's it's better because it's patent, but not that shiny patent

 So it has a bit of cushioning or maybe just put the laptop in the sleeve and then put it in here, but it would then, depending on what type of laptop you have make it a little bit heavier and these straps, you might feel it a bit. But i'll have to test it out to really confirm, but these are the two bags and uh yeah, and these are the two bags from the back uh. You can see the difference in terms of the cushioning and the padding on the straps and the back of the bags themselves, but overall, quite nice and then in terms of size yeah, this msn mini it comes in what is this four inches shorter than the uh Roll top rucksack so but overall, very happy with the purchase most of all happy with the price uh. I am a bargain hunter, and so when i come across a good deal, uh yeah

 Yes, a small zip on the inside, but no laptop um pouch, which is okay, because i guess maybe you're not meant to carry your laptop in this smaller one and then the straps on the bag. They'Re not padded or anything like that. It'S pretty basic, but they can be adjusted and i think yeah, it's a bad just for everyday use to carry around like your general items, but not heavy stuff, because there isn't support in the straps, and it also has this handle at the top. If you want to hold it like that for any reason anyway, i'm just gon na put the hooks back on and then i'll tell you why i love this bag so much so the material

Rains Backpack Review & Try-on | Mini MSN & Roll Top Rucksack

This has been a great commuter bag! Fits my 17" computer and other necessities while it has a slim profile and I love that it's waterproof. The straps are a bit thin which can become uncomfortable on the shoulders with a lot of weight for long periods but it hasn't been a problem for me at all.
