I love love love the Urban Decay and Milani Eyeshadow primers persobally, as a brown lass going for bright colors. And if they work on me they work on anyone!. Also wetting your brush with water or setting spray just a little to pack the color helps make it more opaque (but be sure to set it to prevent falloff:).

What products were staples on your wedding day?

 Will see how it lasts throughout the day. Maybe less it more for people over 60 yo. Having nearly died from skin cancer I can attest to the need for sunblock over everything else. DRMTLGY Anti-Aging Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 46 also on Amazon is a nice one

 To it's credit it was hard to remove so its staying power must be good.  I was hoping to find something to blur or fill in or cause people to hallucinate that I don't have wrinkles above or below my eyes. Sad to say this was not the case. I think my eyes look better with just moisturizer and concealer versus these primers

I admit this is my first eye primer

Unfortunately, I found this primer made my eyeshadow appear patchy. I used it consistently for about month and disliked the result. I gave it the benefit of doubt and used it with multiple eyeshadow textures and differing brands from my collection to assess for the possibility of user error. However, it always appeared to have areas where product would gather

This is a good product for it's value. It provide a solid oil free base for eye make up that helps keep shadow and liner in place all day.

Milani Eyeshadow Primer(All Day Test-Wear)

 Hello everybody, welcome back to my channel. So today I'm going to be doing a review on this product. It's the Milani eyeshadow primer.

 So this one, I've been seeing a lot of good reviews online, at Ulta, and I forgot what other stores that sell makeup.

 I have to list them up somewhere. But I have been reading really really good reviews. They have been comparing this to like Urban Decay eye primer.

 Okay, so this one was $8.83 at Ulta, and I do want to try it out for you guys. It says that it's supposed to last you 8 hours.

 And I'm going to try that out to see if it's any good. I have been in a search for any eyeshadow primers, so that's why I decided to try this one too.

 So I'm going to be reading off a little bit on the back. It says, lightweight, not sticky, texture, minimize creasing, blend well all over eyelid, and allow to set for 30 seconds.

 Okay, so it's pretty easy to use. And then this is how it looks. It's supposed to be for all skin tones.

 So it's very easy to just push it out of the tube. And I'm just going to pat it down. Okay, so you shouldn't use a lot. Just a little teeny dot and then just pat it down.

 And then it shouldn't need a lot because that's how you know it's a good primer. You should just use a little bit. And then I'm going to let it dry a little bit and then I'm just going to quickly do an eye look.

 Tuning in back later, like past the eight hours, you guys can see if the look creased, if there was any patches. Okay, so I am going to be using the Jacqueline Hanna palette. And I'm just going to do a quick easy look.

 So I'm going to be using this brush. It's a Morphe brush and 441. And I'm going to be putting this yellow shade on above the crease.

 Okay, so the colors are, the color is gliding on very smooth and nicely so far. I haven't had no reactions on the lids. I did read a little bit online saying that some people had like an allergic reaction. But so far it doesn't feel bad on me. I don't feel anything at all.

 So so far it looks really good. I see nothing wrong with the primer. It's not making my eyeshadow look any bad at all bad. And it just looks very nice and vibrant. I feel like it makes them look more like intense, I guess the color looks a little bit more intense than it does on the palette, I feel.

 But I'm going to be just doing the same thing on this eye.

 Alright, so both colors look really nice on the lids. I am going to just continue going through the look. And then I'm going to be back for the mascara and the rest of the thing.

 Okay guys, so I am back. I am done with the eyeshadows and I can say that I just love this primer. Like everything just applied very nicely, very smooth. I can say that I feel like it's better than that Morphe primer they have. But I feel like it's better.

 Like they just look really nice and smooth, vibrant. I don't know, I just like it a lot. I am going to be giving my full honest opinion towards the end of the video just because I want to wait 8 hours before I get excited.

 But I am going to quickly use this Marc Jacobs eyeliner.

 And then I'm going to put the rest of the things quickly.

 Okay, so this is the look. I did finish my full face now. I did decide just to go ahead and do it quick. But yeah, my eyes look really good right now. I am going to be tuning in later.

 After the 8 hours. Right now it's currently like 8. So I'm going to be tuning in after those hours. After the 8 hours. But yeah, that's pretty much it for right now. I'll be tuning back in after 8 hours to see if the primer is any good.

 Hello guys, so I am back and right now it's currently 8 at night time and I'm going to get ready to go to bed. I'm going to start removing my makeup. But I just want to come on and say that my makeup looks as good as it did in the morning.

 I feel like shadows didn't patch at all. They did not crease either. And they just look like the same as they did in the morning. As you can see, the shadows just stayed on. The look still looks good. Just on the bottom.

 I didn't use primer obviously. But that's where it started. Just kind of like my sweat was diminishing the shadows I put on the lower lash line. But that's expected. I didn't put no primer down there. So that was expected.

 But for the shadows, they look really good. I'm very impressed and I really do recommend this primer. I have never tried before. And yeah, this is my new favorite if you guys want to check it out.

 I have oily skin but monolid so there's no crease to worry about. Most primers work well on me, so just like with UDPP, WnW, and TFSI, this kept my eyeshadows on with no fading or melting, and vibrant all day. I have yet to experience any oily pooling at the corner of my eyes from liner either (which used to happen back in the days, but it could've been because of the liner and not primer issues).  For the price I paid, which is even cheaper than when UDPP went on sale, this is an excellent product

 The problem I ended up having with TFSI is that after a while it separates, and then it turns into greasy mess too.  Later I started using the Wet n Wild eye primer, which I really liked for a long time. I pretty much liked the WnW as much as I liked TFSI, maybe a little more since it's cheaper. However I noticed the WnW primer had kind of opposite problem of both UDPP and TFSI - whereas UDPP and TFSI are both more liquidy and oily (esp after TFSI separates), I find the WnW to be rather dry

 I currently have a full new-ish tube of UDPP, an old sample of TFSI Champaigne, and a new-ish tube of WnW, and I still only wanna use this. I also have a back up tube of UDPP that i literally do not know what to do with now. Remind self to never buy backups, no matter how discounted, because I might find stuff I like better! I believe the WnW primer is cheaper than this retail price (although with amazon S&S the price difference was only in cents level), but since the WnW is so much drier, I definitely still prefer this. I'd rather shell over a couple of extra dollars and not run into my eyeprimer screwing with my foundation

 Because of the liquidy texture, it seems to take much longer to pat it onto my lid, and the greasiness/liquidiness ends up not playing nice with the foundation around my eye area. I tried to not put any fdnt on my eyelid, but it still was creating patchiness when I tried to blend it out at the edge of where the fdnt would meet the primer. I noticed that the WnW primer was doing the same thing (though not as obvious). At this point I don't have a tube of regular TFSI, just a sample of TFSI champaigne - and that was also doing the same thing
