 I did use this set for 10 days before writing this review to give the items a fair review.  The ankle cuffs could have more cushion inside, but that isn’t a make or break deal for me. The manual is just okay, nothing special. I did find videos on YouTube so that helped out

 I find myself actually using it while I watch tv which for me is a huge plus!  Overall, for me, as a complete beginner and using this while I watch TV, it is perfect for me. Someone who has been working out for years may not say the same thing, but that’s due to them knowing what equipment or tools may be better suited for them.  This review is all mine. Good for my use as a true couch potato

UPDATED REVIEW (2020-11-02):  My trainer recommended these to me. After about 10 sessions the black 40 pound band snapped despite no outer wear or damage. Since I could not return them or replace them via Amazon at that point I decided instead to write my original review (preserved below) describing the problem. Almost immediately after posting it I was contacted by a customer service representative who offered to replace the set at no additional cost

 So I've updated this review from 2-stars to 4-stars in light of that interaction.  I still think the sleeves around the band, while good for preventing rubbing and keeping bands untangled, do inhibit full range of motion and it's often difficult to locate a mid-point when using multiple bands where both will stretch equally in each direction. I'm of average build and hight, so your mileage may vary depending on if you are taller or shorter than average. Other than that, these have worked well for me now going on 24 sessions with them

 It's just easier to note, track and identify which band is going to be more resistance.  NEGATIVE? Length. These are made for small spaces. Nevertheless there's tons of exercises one can do to stay fit!
