So Mad Hippy reached out to me, they sent me the serum and of course me being me

 This serum also contains Vitamin E and it contains Konjac Root I Had no idea of a contact root was so I had to google it. It kind of looks like a turnip and it has loads and loads of vitamins in it so it has a skin smoothing, brightening and tightening effect which is really what this whole serum is about. Vitamin C is a wonderful antioxidant. It helps to reverse photo damage, so any sun damage you have you have dark spots on your face

 It's going to help to really lighten them, brighten them, and just give you your most youthful complexion possible. So let's get into this: I'm gonna give it a good shake and take it out and I'm going to put about half a pipettes worth in my hands, rub it together, and put it on my face right now. I have no nothing on my face so this is the first thing that's coming into contact with my skin. This has now dried on my skin for about two minutes

MAD HIPPIE Vitamin C Serum 💎💎First Impression + Ingredients Breakdown!

I bought the Mad Hippie Vitamin C serum as my first vitamin C dapple (after a few recommendations here). I've been on tret for about 3 months, along with other various good quality skin care items, but had seen basically 0 improvements of any kind. Early for tret anti ageing results, but still, my skin texture and moisture just sucked, no matter what I tried and layered. However this product seems to have like, INSTANTLY worked

32F, normal skin (tending to dry in the winter), no real skin issues other than wanting to reduce the faint smile lines that are starting to appear and to improve the anti-aging aspects of my routine in general. Making my pores less visible would be an added bonus. For both Am and Pm

I wanted your opinion on my current skincare routine, whether I should modify (add/ remove) something from my routine. Tbh I have stuck to this routine for 3 months with no visible results.

Also, what do you guys think about minimalists alpha arbutin, shall I add it to my routine?

I have been using products of The Derma Co. for 3 months now but haven’t seen any visible results

 Felt quite unpleasant. I've used up half the bottle, but the outcome is the same. Probably gonna switch back to Niacinamide 10% and discontinue using this one.

I've used two bottles of Niacinamide 10%, which worked out well for me, except for the drying effect. But I wanted to try this one, as it had HA in it. I knew it would take some time, but the results weren't great. This broke me out more than usual, and made my skin feel quite tight within a minute of application (and no, this one wasn't supposed to be applied to damp skin, contrary to plain HA formulation, as per Minimalist's instructions)

Not as good as expected

 Higher percentage can also come with a lot of irritation and you know that can really lead to more darkening over the long period. So I would not suggest you to go for a higher percentage and stick to 5% which is good. It is well tolerated does not cause irritation and also serves the purpose of reducing acne formation and also repairing skin barrier. What precautions should you take whenever you apply the serum always make sure that you go on with a good thick layer of moisturizer in order to reduce the drying

 All these products vitamin C, tranexamic acid, arbutin and niacinamide can't help in reducing dark spots but remember that they are all very light skin brightening agents okay they are very mild so if you have very stubborn dark spots or dark spots that are just not going with any creams then these creams are also not going to make too much of a difference. You will have to visit a dermatologist and take a proper prescription medication if you want to treat your melasma or stubborn dark spots okay these might not help too much but these ingredients are great if you are starting to develop mild dark spots or you have a tendency to darken so as a prevention also these ingredients are great to add to your skincare routine. So my final thoughts on this brand minimalist it is heavily inspired by the pioneer in this field of transparent skincare which is the ordinary. So ordinary brought in a lot of change in the whole skincare field you know hence became more conscious about what they are putting in their products also very transparent about what all ingredients are going in and the percentages of the exact ingredients which is all very beneficial for the consumers

3% which is a good starting point. So I would say that if you are a beginner who is starting out with Retinol, it is a good product to start with. It also has coenzyme Q10 which is an antioxidant so Ubiquinone is present in our skin and as we age, the amount of Ubiquinone does decrease. So it's a good addition and mixing a Retinol with a Ubiquinone does make sense because Retinol can sometimes cause a little bit of irritation whereas Ubiquinone is more of kind of a soothing agent to the skin

 So I do feel ordinary brought this huge change in the skincare market and minimalist is heavily inspired and kind of bordering on the line of plagiarism which I do not fully support but I do feel that brands who are coming out with this transparent skincare line is really going to benefit both the consumers and you know people like me who would want to prescribe products and know exactly what is going on in the ingredients so I know for the what is best suited for the patient okay but I do like that there is a range of skincare products that are available with pharmaceutical grade ingredient and protein ingredients which can help in targeting and battling a common skincare concerns that we have so I do appreciate that. I did try to order a few products of ordinary so I could compare it with the minimalist but whatever products I ordered from Amazon turned out to be fake but I will try to again purchase it and review it separately so please let me know in the comment section below if you know any good vendors who are selling authentic ordinary products I would really appreciate it. I hope you found this video useful and you got to learn a lot from it I would always suggest you to read the ingredients that is there in the skincare product so you know what you are applying on your skin the ingredients the percentage always makes a huge difference okay whether it will suit you or not and also a formulation makes a big difference on whether it is suitable for your skin type and remember that no YouTube recommendation can substitute visiting a dermatologist in person so nobody even me even my recommendation might not be the best suited for your skin so it can never be a substitute for visiting a dermatologist and getting your skin checked and getting a proper prescription that is customized for your skin type okay. The same thing happened with me😭. I used minimalist 10% niacinamide for a week in December and suffered through a  horrible breakout phase through whole of January. Now I have a lot of pigmentation ( acne scars) and regret.

um, hello everyone. I was pretty hyped up about using niacinamide  5% from minimalist. I bought it on \~26th Jan and used it till 31st. After using it for 5 days  I observed ALOT of increase in active acne. They started the day after I started using them but I thought its normal. But it increased alot to a point that I stopped using it. The left side picture is taken on 31st Jan (the last day of using niacinamide).

The left side is a picture I took today, 16 days apart. Now im having lesser active acne and the skin' starting to improve. I still cant quite understand why 5%N didn't work for me because I was very hyped on using it T\~T

Im still having scars and huge pores (Idk why they're not visible in the picture but I have huge pores everywhere due to these pus acnes breaking due to towel). Not sure how to cure them. Considering to buy AHA+BHA+PHA peel.

Edit- I forgot to mention I use Minimalist LA 10% and used SA(only spot treatment) from minimalist. After reading the comments, I&#39;ve decided to stick w/ SA &amp; LA 10% for a while before considering to buy AHA peel. Sorry for forgetting about it.

After 16 days of not using niacinamide 5% from minimalist

It's great for getting an even tone and losing all the hyperpigmentation. It's done wonders to my skin. Really happy with this product.

It's absolutely amazing!

first the packaging is sooo good comes in black outer pack with all the information and you get a another black box which is plain and there you go to the bottle ..its a glass jar very nyc the dropper is good .

.texture is so nyc i have combination sensitive skin with some dark spots i have used it it works but make sure to incorporate it slow give some time and trust the process it does work i have seen the change i used it slow first i used day after a day for week then daily next week i dnt use it twice i feel like its more but yeah its a good stuff

Got a nice texture and easy to spread on the face. Niacinamide is a very safe and stable ingredient. I bought 5% because most of the clonical trials have been done with 3-5 percent. However it is ok to use upto 10% experts suggest

Since I am new to skincare and wanted to take it slow and steady, I opted for 5% and also the hyaluronic acid is at 1% which is great. I use this twice a week with the minimalist toner (toner first, wait 10mins) then finish it off with the oat moisturizer
