Until this point, we've only recommended wired keyboards. That's because a high-performing wireless gaming keyboard usually comes with a price tag much higher than $100. Enter, the Logitech G613 LIGHTSPEED. This full-size wireless unit offers incredible gaming performance thanks to its remarkably low latency. It also uses the same sensitive Romer-G Tactile switches as the Logitech G413, which offer a nice keypress with a smooth tactile bump that feels very responsive while gaming. There are quite a few extra features packed into this already impressive board, like dedicated media keys, a column of dedicated macro keys, and even a built-in wrist rest for better ergonomic support. Of course, there are some trade-offs. The G613 lacks backlighting of any kind, which is a bummer for those who like dark room gaming, as you'll have to rely on your screen to illuminate the keys from above.

Alternatively, the Obinslab Anne Pro 2 has full RGB backlighting that you can customize on a per-key basis. However, its latency is only good enough for gaming when used in a wired mode. Otherwise, if you use it with Bluetooth, the latency is best-suited for casual gaming. It also isn't a full-size keyboard, so if you need a Numpad, the G613 LIGHTSPEED is a better option.

Basically, this is my stock Logitech G613 Mechanical Keyboard with all 13 disassembly screws made readily accessible (of which 9 are normally concealed by the OEM). It doesn't sound like much but was quite a bit of work! Now I can fully disassemble the keyboard to vacuum and clean the switches with Isopropyl Alcohol whenever I want without having to worry about replacing the adhesives on the rubberised sections or peeling and re-sticking the product label.

 On the other hand because of those specifications they are really good for gaming purpose, very fast to respond although they do kinda leave you with a damned feel and sound. I'm ok with that in general cause I know that there cannot be a universal switch that will satisfy everyone, that's why Cherry has a couple of different switches, but I wish Logitech made at least one more type of Roamer switch which could cater other portion of users. In terms of it being a wireless mechanical keyboard and how does it perform, I didn't have any complaints whatsoever starting from the range which I measured to be around 10 meters, but it's not like you are going to use it like that, while my subjective impression is that it performs just as fast as a wired one. Just no wonder as it uses Logitech's Lightspeed technology which lowers down the wireless latency to just 1 ms just as seen on their G900 mouse which was actually first to introduce this technology

 I dug into the package right away and in here I found a USB extension cable for the wireless receiver, a really cool add-on in the form of a stand for your mobile phone or tablet, some user manuals of course and the keyboard itself. Taking a closer look at it, if you're familiar with Logitech's product line you'll probably notice right away that design of the G613 is basically the same compared to the G213 Prodigy series. There is one noticeable visual difference in design though and that's the color scheme, where this model has the two-tone dark grey and black one instead of just being completely black. Now the only black part is the wrist rest, which might I add is useful, but not that comfortable on the long run in this case since it's made out of plastic

 I still do like its design, it's very minimalistic and up to date with some glossy details on the side, not over the top. The build quality remains to be really good, the outer finish is nice to the touch and although it's completely made out of plastic it still delivers very rigid and sturdy construction. Beside the color difference another change can be found on the left half of the keyboard and those are the added programmable keys. I'm really happy to see that Logitech decided to use them, especially since they've basically built their reputation of the gaming lineup on them

 Speaking of that Logitech claims they should last up to 18 months depending on the use case but it's obviously not something to be worried about. As for the Logitech's gaming software utility everything is as seen from before, I assume a lot of you already had a chance to cross paths with it and as you can see here the options are pretty much the same as with any other Logitech's gaming product. Here you can set up your profiles, reprogram those G keys, determine what keys are getting switched off in gaming mode, check your heat map and of course check the battery level of the keyboard. Everything said and considered it's steep but not surprising 150$ price tag can be justifiable to a certain extent for most of its potential buyers

Logitech G613 Review - Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard??

 Hello guys, Matthew here and welcome back again to the Tech Tech Youtube channel.

 Before I knew anything about what product I'm going to get for a review from Logitech

 for this time, upon taking over the box at first I've noticed that it's quite heavy

 and wide, while in the next second after that I saw a wireless logo on the picture of a

 mechanical keyboard and then it hit me, it's a wireless mechanical gaming keyboard.

 Turning it onto its other side the listed out feature set confirmed my assumption and

 right after that I saw that the wireless capability is actually written on the box itself, so

 I felt kinda dumb for a second for overlooking that simple notion right in front of me.

 Although this is not the first wireless mechanical gaming keyboard available on the market, this

 Logitech's G613 model is definitely a first one when we talk about more famous brands.

 Yes, Rocket has their Sova model, but it falls into a very specific segment.

 We also have a bunch of dedicated multimedia keys in the top right corner, while on the

 side you can also see the toggle on and off switch for the keyboard.

 Beside it we have yet another toggle switch for enabling the gaming mode, which is a welcomed

 improvement as before it there was just a regular button so it could be pressed accidentally.
