 After the success of using Basalt in the Tarab, we decided to put Basalt in the new Basalt

 Tesseract, replacing the pre-cured fiberglass to make it a little bit more eco-friendly.

 And without pre-cured fiberglass, the Basalt won't be giving you those fiberglass splinters

 that you've probably encountered at least once before.

 We are stoked on Basalt because not only does it make the board overall lighter, but it

 Hey guys, this is Eric here with Daddy's Board Shop giving you a review on the new Loaded

 The Tesseract comes in at 39 inches long, 9.5 inches wide, and it has two wheelbase

 options of 24.5 inches on the inner wheelbase and 26 inches on the outer wheelbase.

 I've been riding this board for a couple weeks now and so far I've been loving it.

 A lot of the features that really stand out to me is that the rocker platform makes it

 really stable and really locks your feet in, and then it also has wheel well flares which

 is great because I've been able to ride larger wheels like a 74 millimeter without any problems

 with wheelbite or anything like that, and the wheel well flares also give a really good

 point of reference for your feet, especially when speed tucking or anything like that,

 which makes the board awesome for downhilling.

 I took it up to Maryhill and it was probably the most perfect board I've ever ridden up

 Another great thing about the board is I've been using it a lot for freeriding, as you

 can tell as far as my wheels go, they've been wearing down pretty nice, but it's symmetrical

 shape so that when I'm doing any kind of spins or 360s or just like freeriding, it does not

 matter which direction my board goes, which is super nice so that I just don't have to

 worry about my board being backwards or anything like that, slide shoves are super easy and

 it doesn't change my riding at all, and all the features of the rocker and actually meeting

 up with a slight mild W concave in the center of the board makes it so that I get a locked

 in feeling without worrying about my feet slipping off at all.

 Another great thing about the board is the nose and tail feature, having the nose and

 tail makes it really versatile so if I want to do any kind of pop tricks, manuals, you

 can even ollie the board, it's super fun to have just to mess around with.

 I switched up the grip tape a little bit, I used some blood orange grip to just kind

 of do a little custom grip job on my board, and I actually added a little bushing foot

 stop, it's kind of something I've grown accustomed to from using a bunch of different top mounts,

 but the wheel well flares that come with the board meeting with the rocker and the W concave

 makes it so that you actually don't need any additions to it, I just chose to do it myself.
