I am not comfortable shouldering that risk *and* paying extra for something that should've lasted many more years. 

 My whole household had them. My mother has a neck injury, so making her queen sized bed was part of my regular chores growing up, and each of our sheet sets were easily 10+ years old, in great condition, and buttery soft.

 I ordered the king set in latte. And they WERE perfect, right outta the box. Both my husband and I get hot even in winter, so prefer cotton bedding vs synthetics and blends. I was so excited to try these, that I put them on the bed right outta the box (came very nicely packaged)
