 This is the narrowest ski in Line's Vision collection, it's the lightest ski as well, maybe not surprising because it's the narrowest so the least amount of materials, but when you have this thing in your hand it's darn impressive because it's just 1500 grams which is really really light for a ski, really for any ski but especially for a ski that's this this fun and this versatile too. Line uses a combination of maple and polonia in the ski's core so two really good materials to use in ski construction, the maple provides some stability and responsiveness and stuff like that and then the polonia helps keep the weight down so polonia is a very very lightweight material, also very sustainable for a bonus and then Line uses three different materials kind of right on top of the core so a blend of fiberglass, carbon and aramid which you can see, they do a really cool thing with the ski's basically graphics, you can kind of get little windows into the ski construction and see what's going on in there but super lightweight and just a lot of fun to ski, enough tip and tail rocker that in soft snow it's it's pretty darn playful, never catchy and that also kind of helps because there's there's not much early there's there's some nice early taper in this ski too so you don't get like extended side cut that can get hung up if you're in soft snow trying to play around, very snappy playful energetic flex pattern so like when I was talking about my first experience on them I think that's I think that's a really fun way to ski them you know you just kind of like load up a lot of energy off the tail and pop off things and play, kind of blurs the line between like a park skier, a freestyle focused skier and then maybe more of a an alpine touring guy somebody who likes to go and seek out new zones, fresh snow in the backcountry, stuff like that at 1500 grams it's a really good ski to either put an alpine touring binding on and go for a little skin or just throw them on your pack and go for a hike and kind of you know get away from the resort a little bit. That's basically what Line had in mind when they designed this ski they kind of referred to themselves as an aging group of park skiers, skiers that still kind of value freestyle performance, twin tip shape, stuff like that but are starting to prefer softer landings maybe having more fun going out in the backcountry and skiing natural terrain rather than just like bashing rails and hitting park jumps and if you fall into that description Line makes plenty of skis for you too and not to say that this can't slide some rails and bash some park jumps but I think it's it's highlighting feature is its versatility around the whole mountain whether inside of resort boundaries or outside of resort boundaries. Lightweight, a lot of fun to ski, it can handle a wide range of terrain it's not like the strongest ski on groomers but it's got enough camber and that that kind of triple hybrid construction that they use does give it a nice amount of grip under foot
