 Right here is the Snowcat. It's a good ski for skiing in snowcats. It's got a beautiful swallowtail on it that just really allows the ski to float when you land in powder. The tail has less resistance, so it sinks into the soft snow, allowing your tips to stay up

 I'm always looking for wind waves to slash and rollers to pop over. What I really like about the Piscatos is just getting that surf feeling on snow, as well as it's like the swallowtail and the shorter tail in general bring some challenges that is fun to work with, like nose-buttering or even like landing switch and pow. When I'm riding the chairlift at the ski hill on this thing, I love cruising the groomers. It has a wicked side cut on it, so the turn radius really allows you to flow with the mountain and ride all the terrain you find on the way down in a really surfy style

LINE 2022/2023 Pescado Skis - The Best Powder Skis On Earth

 Whether you're in Japan or British Columbia, it's the ideal ski for those situations. So the Piscardo comes in at a heavyweight 125mm underfoot, however, it's not actually a heavyweight, it's a Polonia and Maple core, which means that it comes in at just under 2 kilos per ski. That means it's perfect for jumping on an alpine or a touring binding depending on your preference. The main bit of construction that's noticeable is the big swallowtail down the bottom

 Now the swallowtail allows the tail of the ski to drop down and it's got a big shovel in the nose so it can give you loads of float no matter where you're skiing. So in essence, if you're going to go to Japan, British Columbia, you're an advanced skier and you want something to give you optimum float and deep soft fluffy snow, the Piscardo is your best friend. However, if you're not going to go in any of those places or the snow isn't so snow sure, this is going to be one of those skis that you'll put on the wall, look at and only bring out on those super special days. In terms of bindings, if you want to go on the touring side of things, I'd recommend a Kingpin or a Duke PT
