As the title says this board is MEGA FUN!! If you like hard charging lines and having a board underneath you that absolutely destroys everything in its path then you should get this board...like yesterday

 Alright, hey guys, this is Steph with TheGoodRide.com and here we have the Westin Riva 149.

 This is a directional snowboard. It is tapered and it is kind of a setback camber. So you get the

 camber underfoot but then you get the extra long rise in the nose and looks like maybe a little bit

 in the tail but not much. So mainly in the nose. Really fast, flat, black base. So 149, this rides

 like a nice free ride snowboard. I had a lot of fun on it. We got like a mini powder day and then

 I took it on a hike up the side country and it was a lot of fun in soft snow. It felt really,

 really solid. It's a little bit, you know, it's got a pretty stiff flex just for that nice solid

 ride. It felt really good and like open, kind of drawn out turns, flowy. So it'd be like good for,

 you know, a big old bowl or, you know, steeps with that fresh snow on it. I didn't mind it in trees

 either. It was able to turn through trees really well when it was softer snow. It is a little bit

 wider underfoot. So, you know, you get more surface area on the snow or if you are looking

 for a mid-wide free ride board, the ladies out there with like nine and a half and up boots,

 this could be a good option for you. But so, yeah, it's just like a board for free riding,

 you know. You get the big mountains, you get the steeps, you get the soft snow. It held fine on ice

 as well because it has that stiff flex and it's got a pretty aggressive camber on it. I don't know

 if you can see it there but look at it on the table. It's got a pretty nice curve in it so you're

 getting nice contact points all the way down to here and then the nose is that early rise so you

 don't notice it too much when you're riding it on hard pack but it helps you with that extra float

 in, you know, softer snow. So, this would be a fun board to have like if you're going out hiking and

 all their boards are available in splits I believe also. So that's nice because they all have that

 camber underfoot so that when you are side cutting and going up you have that edge hold but they also

 do very well going down in powder. So, you know, good options there. A little bit harder to pop

 than the Rise. The Rise is more like a little bit more playful. This one is more like down to

 business like let's go. So it wants to keep the nose in the fall line, wants to do those open turns,

 not so much the closed tight turns. But that being said in soft snow through trees it does

 really well. It felt pretty good on hard pack and ice, you know, not gonna be as good on ice as

 those with the magna traction or the traction tech or whatever. The disruptive side cut is gonna be

 a little better probably but it does well. So, yeah, that is the Westin Riva. Really cool top sheet.
