As the title says this board is MEGA FUN!! If you like hard charging lines and having a board underneath you that absolutely destroys everything in its path then you should get this board...like yesterday

.like yesterday. I rode this board everywhere from jump lines, to rails, to straight lining down a run and it handled everything. I was a little worried how it would perform at slow speeds, being playful, but this board did not disappoint and i could still press into it with ease

I have decided on the salomon sight 2021 for the board as I’ve read it’s good for beginners and it looks nice, as for the boots I’m stuck between thirty two zephyr boa and burton moto boa, I’m pretty certain I want boa. Any binding suggestions are appreciated, also as for sizing can anyone tell me what size I would need if I wear a 10.5 in vans?

 If you have big feet do yourself a favor get on a wide board like the Sight Wide. Overall the the shaping is a twin style shape. The only thing that makes this board a directional twin is that the stance is set back 10 millimeters but if you'd like to twin the board up make it more freestyle oriented just move the stance up 10 millimeters which is actually really easy to do. A great thing about the Sight Wide is that it has a profile shape that is both stable and poppy by giving it good energy and also it's kind of buttery and smooth at the same time

 Now inside this is going to be a Aspen style wood core basically tip the tail and rail to rail. The Aspen is actually really lightweight of course strong Salomon makes some of the strongest boards there is in the game you know that by looking at the pro team and what they do to their boards and how well the boards hold up under extreme conditions. On top of that wood core is a Biax fiberglass and on bottom two that runs at zero degrees and at 90 degrees making this board actually fairly torsionally soft you can still apply it twist it with your feet and that's good for those beginner level riders and even those advanced level riders when they lock into a jib kind of like lifting up an edge so they're less likely to catch while they're riding a rail or a box. There's really not too much more to the deck beyond these rubber pads that you'll see within that sidewall that help to absorb negative vibrations and of course impact those rubber pads are actually two millimeters thick and they rest kind of where your bindings are within that ABS style sidewall

The base is clear and crispy has a little bit of structure to it by Salomon does a great job at doing structure on the boards this is an extruded base meaning that it's very low maintenance you won't have to keep it waxed up as much as a sintered base throughout the season and then again there's that 360 wrap standard steel edge that features that bite free style edge tune making it less catchy. So this is a fun board it really is that cross profile profile shape which has camber still has good amount of pop the pop is directly underneath that back foot not necessarily back where that effective edge ends and those contact points are raised up a little less catchy the good board basically do everything with on a really good price point of course you can check these things out at the house
