LG WM4200HWA vs LG WM8100HVA

I bought this washer to replace an older Samsung washer and have been using this washer for a few weeks now. I bought it based on the Consumer Reports results that I read before heading to Best Buy. I liked the looks of it and LG seemed to get the best reviews for repair history. My only complaint about it is that it makes a lot of noise when filling up the tub

I have had my LG washer for about a month now and I can tell you it is AMAZING! I have littles so the noise level of this machine is super important to me, and I can tell you that this is literally been the quietest washing machine I have ever had. My clothes come out clean and smelling great! I cannot recommend this washer enough. It is AMAZING! If you are on the fence about the price, I promise it is WORTH it! I wouldn’t give anything for my LG!

We've been able to reduce the number of individual loads to be washed due to the large 5 cu.ft capacity. The ThinQ function allows us to know when the a cycle is complete without having to make unnecessary trips upstairs to check on the washer.

Machine with the 5.2 mega capacity. This is a well built solid washer that has great capacity. Overall I am glad I got it

Contacted them for service under my warranty been couple weeks nobody called file online for service still waiting for a call back been over a week maybe 2 and I still have not gotten a call. We are in a queue. My warranty expires in a couple weeks. I will not be buying another LG product if I don't get this fixed and if I end up paying for a repair on my own

LG does not stand behind its product, and essentially steals money from customers out of the purchase price by promising warranty parts that it might never actually deliver.

This front loader replaced a new LG high efficiency smart top loader with turbowash. We first purchased the LG top loader with an impeller, WT7800CW, and used if for about 2 weeks.
