Related is the filter at the bottom of the washer which apparently will need to be drained on a regular basis. This is the first time I've seen this in a washer and it is not an easy task. The little hose the comes out isn't long enough so to drain it I have to get a very shallow pan that is large enough to catch all the water or I'll have a wet floor.

Last December the drain pump failed. Not even two years old! Panels need to be removed and some fiddly work needs done to replace it. Now I keep getting fill errors and find that water has been getting pumped out for hours. My water bill was a disaster this month

It's been exactly one year since we bought this washer/dryer combo and on top of saving a ton of space in our laundry room, it has been very efficient and easy to use. The machine has an excellent sensor system that realizes very quickly if your clothes are dry and stops the dryer to save energy.

I replaced a 20 year old Maytag with a new LG washer/gas dryer set and I love it. Dropped my water bill and electric, since I switched from an electric dryer.
