 So I bought the 4 year extended warrantee and we'll see what happens. My biggest complaint is no pull out shelves and no shelf dividers. For some reason I have saved bins and dividers from past refrigerators and they're the only thing that makes this useable. Without dividers, unless the door shelves are full, everything falls over each time it is opened or closed

  The lights are in the front, so without the bins I've added, I'd never know what was at the back of the shelves.  I have a laser thermometer. Both the freezer and refrigerator need to be at the second highest setting, not the factory-set middle one.

  I have had this refrigerator one month. It is spacious, looks nice, and not worth the trouble or the additional expense to turn it in for something else.

I bought this model in Black Stainless. I would not recommend any LG product to anyone based on my experience with this refrigerator. I bought this fridge a little over a year ago and now it is having problems keeping things cold in the refrigerator compartment.  Also, a wide open space like this = extreme spaciousness. It's what makes this fridge unique.  This fridge replaces my 8-yr old, 4-door, digital-display touchscreen Samsung one. Which was a state-of-the-art $2500 super advanced fridge at the time

 You might think that this LG one is a downgrade, right? Function wise & temperature setting wise; maybe. Space saving wise (footprint); no. Storage volume wise; a huge upgrade, and looks wise; this doesn't pale next to the now defunct Samsung one. This one looks just as modern with its stainless front and its silverish sides aren't ugly or too plastique either

  Ice Maker: It should be made easier to remove entirely. It occupies too much space like now & most people from what I heard don't use/want it.  Lack of partitions: It's actually a plus for me instead of a minus. Right now, all I need to do is to get bins from The Container Store or IKEA to design my own storage interiors

 If you packed them all in there tightly, I bet you could probably get 40-50+ 12oz cans into this thing if you "worked them into the door spaces" the right way.

 The selves have that strange height "in between" shelves, were you may be able to squeeze a full gallon of milk in, sideways, but a jar of whole dill pickles standing up would likely be too tall for any space except the center "rack". Again, not a bad design, just not really suited for a lot of "common container sizes" that you find at the grocery store. It has been a GREAT beer cooler and liquor cabinet though.  I could probably mess around with removing one of the racks/shelves it comes with to play with fitting something like a gallon jug or a "full size" Orange Juice container "right side up" but I feel like that's just trading off the larger space that I wanted for replacing a much smaller mini-fridge

It's a nice size...

I needed a compact and quiet refrigerator for my bedroom so I bought this one. This is a nice refrigerator. It has a good look. I used it for a week and as far as I could tell, it worked very well

 But it is noisy. When doing my research for "quiet compact refrigerators" this specific Midea refrigerator came up. It is a little quieter than some of the others I tried but it made this continuous gurgling sound that really stuck out and was annoying. I really wanted to keep this refrigerator but I couldn't deal with the gurgling sound so I returned it

 It's cold enough to freeze my drinks that I had to turn down the throb to 3. If only if the fridge came in without the compartment as in the picture. Some reviews say that it broke after a few months of use. Will see about that

Noisy little fridge.

 A small amount of perishable snacks such as cheese and salami, and even a couple packages of meat and or veggies to cook up for dinner. You can't fit a week's worth of food a day so still need to shop every couple of days or so, but you know that going in. My favorite features is how compact it is despite how much it can hold and how QUIET it is. Perfect for keeping in a bedroom or dorm since it won't disturb your sleep

  I originally got this fridge because my old fridge was simply too much of an energy drain and this has made a significant impact on my electric bill. It's quiet enough that it's only really audible from a handful of feet away. The temperature control is very strong. I wish the size compartment for 12oz cans could be removed (maybe it can be? I could fuss with it more I suppose) so that I could more effectively use the space and the side bars towards the bottom are a bit flimsier than I'd like
