Called the service number. I have to say they really scrape the bottom of the barrel for their service technicians also. The guy changed out a part in the freezer even though I told him the noise was in the fridge. The fridge still did not cool

The condenser noise is fine, it is the constant gurgling and fluid whooshing noise that is extremely irritating. My unit may have be bad or had minor damage during transport but this may be "donated" in the near future. Consider paying a little more for a better brand next time.

Then February this month, the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling. Even if it is worldwide company, they are of course close on Sat-Sun which meant my food started rotting. I was lucky enough to have a small refrigerator in the garage which came to use. I called the 1-800 number and it gave me 5 - so called authorized local repair houses

It's cold enough to freeze my drinks that I had to turn down the throb to 3. If only if the fridge came in without the compartment as in the picture. Some reviews say that it broke after a few months of use. Will see about that

The idea is to put most-used products in the front compartment, so in most cases you open only the external door, while the main big compartment remains closed, saving the cold. Good on theory, but on practice this feature probably requires more discipline and better memory than we have: we found that in most cases we open both doors, first one, then another, in order to find out where is what you need. Water filter. Our filter failed much sooner than expected, probably clogged, and we replaced it with the plastic insert LG provides for those who don't feel that municipal water needs any extra filtering

A small amount of perishable snacks such as cheese and salami, and even a couple packages of meat and or veggies to cook up for dinner. You can't fit a week's worth of food a day so still need to shop every couple of days or so, but you know that going in. My favorite features is how compact it is despite how much it can hold and how QUIET it is. Perfect for keeping in a bedroom or dorm since it won't disturb your sleep

WTF is that? Who cares? How about rating the features, dependability, design, etc? Displaying the "target" temp in the upper & lower levels (freezer) is an absolutely WORTHLESS feature. LG: Here's an idea: Have an app that will send you an alert if the temp starts to drastically change. This would be VERY helpful. Why would I want to monitor an app for my fridge that tells me what the temp SHOULD BE?

Quiet. Voted with my pocket: NORMAL DOOR HARDWARE! The cheap, cheap refrigerators made with straps for cans are not helpful. I'm so happy to find a better fridge.

I do love the space and the way it helps me organize my groceries. Hopefully it will run beautifully for a long time to make up for the not so beautiful outside.

I needed a compact and quiet refrigerator for my bedroom so I bought this one. This is a nice refrigerator. It has a good look. I used it for a week and as far as I could tell, it worked very well

This is cool, even though it costs as much as a used car. The interior is spacious and works as advertised. Be advised, though - it is big. You'll need to take off the doors and remove the drawer to get it through most 36 inch doorways

While I do trust that this freezer could freeze a soda can until explosion, it would take quite awhile (unless you cranked the chill to max) and you couldn't fit much into the freezer space either. The design of the door "compartments" seems a bit strange as well. It's kind of cool that you can fit a lot of 12oz cans in the door, there are some "odd squeezes" that take place to really maximize the space in the door. Overall though, not a terrible design, just a little different
