For video, I usually use PNY Pro Elite, Lexar Professional 1066x, or Sandisk Extreme Pro. It will barf on anything other than top-shelf pro-quality cards when shooting video at 4K/60.

I have always used SanDisk, but when I got my new Canon 7D Mkii (with two card slots) for shooting Birds in Flight (BIF) I decided on the basis of a professional memory card review to try Lexar for the CF card slot. Very Fast CF card, doesn't seem to be faster than the 1000x but that's ok

When it comes to storage on a camera, the most important thing to know is whether or not it can hold the images with no issues. This Compact Flash card fits the Canon 5D Mark IV with no problems, and I shot an entire wedding with this recently. The images remained on there until I took them off, and after I cleared it (deleted the images), it continued to work without issues.

I tested the old Samsung EVO microSDHC card(MB-MP32DA/AM) back in Oct 2014 and liked it. When I found this newer version (Samsung EVO Select UHS-1 32GB microSDHC ) on sale for a good price, I quickly grabbed another one.  The Amazon product page for EVO Select claims "High-performance up to 80MB/s for full HD video recording". This implies its WRITE speed is up to 80MB/s, which would be fantastic for such a low cost card

  So the new card is faster in Read but slower in Write. In most demanding applications (such as recording video in HD, or shooting DSLR in burst mode), the Write speed is the limiting factor. That means the 'EVO Select' series will not perform as well as the old 'EVO' series in those cases.  [Bottom Line] I am disappointed that the new Samsung EVO Select series is advertised as "Up to 80MB/s", yet it Writes SLOWER than the old EVO series which claims 48MB/s

 My measured results are: EVO Select - 92.5MB/s Read, 25.3MB/s Write (See my uploaded screenshot for details)  In comparison, the old Samsung EVO UHS-1 card is advertised as "Up to 48MB/s". My measured results were: EVO - 47

 However on the back of the package I received it says: "Read Speed up to 80MB/s; Write Speed up to 20MB/s"  [Benchmark] I used a program called 'CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 x64' to measure, among other things, the Sequential Read and Write speed of this card.  Most cards have the UHS-I type (singe-row pins) of interface. UHS-II has an additional row for faster transfer speeds  REAL WORLD PERFORMANCE & COMPARISON - The closest competitors to this EVO Select card are the SanDisk & Samsung's own Evo cards and they are priced pretty similarly - The only reason why I didn't go for the SanDisk card was the confusion about its U1 rating. Even though its listing & description indicates USH-1 , It does not contain the official SD Card associations standard "U1" logo (1 inside a U). I do not understand why it would claim to be UHS-1 card but not have its official mark - Samsung's own EVO range of cards have a 40Mb/s read and a higher write speed of 40 Mb/s than this EVO Select model 

 As you can see from my results the card performed very close to its claimed speeds (infact higher for write speeds) - Included SD card adapter  THE NOT SO GOOD - As you can see from my results using the adapter, even though the card is capable of 80 Mb/s read speeds , the included SD card adapter falls short and is only able to support up 25 Mb/s read speeds . This makes taking advantage of those higher speeds difficult while transferring files  FINAL THOUGHTS Overall this is a good, inexpensive card with decent performance figures for the card itself, I am kind of disappointed that the included SD card adapter is not able to support the card's maximum speeds and makes using a 3rd party card reader necessary to take advantage of its full read speeds. Good performance of the Card itself but the included adapter does not keep up with it

 I've purchased a couple at a time. By that I mean one or two over a single order, and likely a total of 10 over the last three months. All of a sudden, I've hit some oddball quantity limit via Amazon. I'm a Prime Member, and this is absolute BS!  I can understand if I tried to buy 10 of them at once, but I'd have no need to do this

The agent put me on hold a long while and came back to tell me it was shipping out today. What a coincidence! I am further convinced that customer service agents do not act on the next procedure until prompted by the aggrieved consumer.  - April 25: I receive my replacement SD card one month after reporting a card that went defective 18 months into a 10-year warranty period

These cards are decently reliable but because they make so many, they are produced in different factories with different standards of manufacture. You can see this in the speed tests being slightly different among some batches of cards. Not a bad product but I recently started using these https://amzn.to/3k0rAva after a friend steered me in that direction

Good but not the best

Another excellent product from Samsung. Great value: why spend more? Even I have had micro-SD cards fail, I dunno what I do to the little buggers, but nowadays I make sure to 'Safely-Eject' any memory device, excepting, perhaps, my WD 1Tb My Passport, as it seems to lack the selection to safely remove in any menu-box I observe. Ah, the adventure of it all.
