As a comparison, my Samsung phone with one tiny speaker is much, much louder and clearer than this Chromebook. Makes no sense - the two speaker grills on the front could easily support larger, louder, better quality speakers. What would it cost them, a dollar? Two? Light weight to take anywhere and sleek and attractive too. Forget window or pricey Macs. Chromebook for life!! This deal was way too good to pass up.

If you’re expecting tablet-like weight, you will be disappointed because it is considerably heavier than a tablet. Personally, I would rather have a well constructed Chromebook like this one than a flimsy, light one.

6-pound weight makes it awkward and heavy to use handheld as a tablet. But, the touchscreen does support USI pens so putting this down on a desk or on your lap in tablet mode to draw or write on the screen is certainly doable. The display doesn't get terribly bright, though, and that makes it tough to see past reflections when working outdoors or next to a sunny window.
