KitchenAid KHM926 vs Toastess Delfino DLHM-564

I was more than a surprised, I was amazed! First time using it, WOW I now understood this 'New Age Hand Mixer' as it was the best Hand Mixer I'd ever used in my life and oh so easy to clean, and better yet no loss of batter! The old-fashion hand mixtures I previously owned (from days gone by) was much harder to wash/clean as well as my having to lose some of the batter as the batter would 'stick' to the wider blades & grove. Also taking into account the fact that you'd have to 'manually dial up or down w/only 30-Speed (Low, Med & high) which never really worked as All 3-Speeds were quite high, splashing all over the place w/me practically having to wrap my one hand and forearm to keep splashes from going all over the place. This KitchenAid hand mixer w/much thinner blades is fantastic and once you hit Off it automatically stops, and then when you turn it on it starts as a nice controlled 'slow' speed which you simple press the Up Icon to increase the speed w/out any hassels. I can't believe I resisted trying this newer KitchenAid mixers for so long (foolish on my part) but I guess I just didn't believe the thin blades would really mix the batters well (it's better than fantastic) and I absolutely Love it! I bought the Empire Red color as 'Red' is my happy color and it's absolutely a true (blue/red) color… and not an orange/red color

Very powerful and love the ease of use. The base makes it great to sit up and not fall over! What a concept. Adjusting speed is as simple as pushing "+" for faster and "-" for slower. Even has a speed ramp up so that you don't sling stuff everywhere!

It was applied crooked, but I'm afraid I will tear it up if I try to correct it. My previous Kitchen Aid had a sturdy, bendable metal for the banner and the appliance seemed to be built out of sturdier plastic. The overall new appliance seems to be covered with a lighter plastic. Since this is the way appliances and everything else is made now, I don't have any recourse in a hand-held mixer in this price range

Yes, the case is plastic and not the brushed stainless that it appears to be but so what? We will see how it holds up. And I think that is why it is so lightweight which is another feature I was looking for after hefting the Cuisinart.

It's big and heavy. So when I was thinking about what I might want for Christmas this year, I decided a hand mixer. Then I started to research hand mixers and ended up choosing this one. I really like it

It is a very heavy duty mixer. And, it is very heavy! My wrists could not handle the power and weight. . Even on the lowest speed it ran way too fast to control the unit and bowl

The amount of torque on my wrist from both was the same and the noise generated from both was identical and not as quiet as some have stated in their reviews and is still noisy. The beaters ejected easily on both and both units cleaned up quickly after use. The bottom Line. The only improvement I personally found between the new 9 speed and my old 5 speed was the lower speed on #1 setting

This mixer works great! I love the variability of the settings; makes it perfect for whatever you are working on. However, it is very, very noisy. As for durability, I haven't had this long enough to comment. The noise is the only reason I rate it as 'good' instead of 'excellent'

UPDATE: 1 year later - I have had this mixer now for a year and I can’t tell you how many times I say “I LOVE THIS MIXER!” Every time I start mixing something I can’t get over the ease of holding this mixer (extremely light) and the left handed swivel on the cord- perfect. After a year it’s still quiet , sturdy, smooth Transition on the speeds and a tremendous workhorse. Best mixer I have ever owned. Still loving it!

no problems with this mag, however, in Nov I ordered womens day and publisher got it all messed up It will now be delivered in April 5 months after I ordered. Discount mags did give a courtesy refund of $2.00 because of the mix up. This is the first time I have had a problem with ordering magazines from this company
