I bought this to put in a garmin drive smart 50 that I bought in 2018. Because the map update required a 32gb micro sd card, I bought this. It performed well during a recent road trip of600 miles and the memory loaded the maps quickly. Great value!

 Outstanding! By the time the card got full, the last write was at 205 MB/s with the read at 225 MB/s. Still very good.  There are no dips in the transfer speed with writing, no "hiccups" that could interrupt for example a video recording, and it stayed consistently above 200 MB/s write speed even after being used for a bit. So this is good, no issue at all with recording 8K video

What is the difference between Samsung 128GB EVO Select, EVO Plus and PRO Endurance?

  One thing worth noting is that a lot of equipment uses the TF card standard which tops out at 32 GB. A 64GB or 128GB card will work in them but you will probably only be able to format to 32GB in the device. For me, it's easier to use the 64GB cards, which hit the right point on the capacity/price scale. It doesn't hurt older equipment to use the bigger card

 That's one reason the manufacturers recommend formatting inside the device. You might find it better to put the preformatted larger card in and test it to see if your device has been updated to work with the bigger cards. Always test first.

 You've got a security cam that you got to have constant footage on, dash cam that's constantly recording. This guy is supposed to be able to keep up with all that for a years long period 24-7 recording not breaking down not corrupting or losing data. So as a result we're not going to do huge comparative benchmarks because there's no reason to. I don't think you want to wait that long for this video but on the plus side the performance numbers measured up very closely to what Samsung is saying. On Crystal Disk we were actually showing some really nice write speeds with that program

 Scores looked good. The sequential read and writes pretty darn close to Samsung's specs. That's that's all it that's all there is guys. I mean it's a solid SD card

 If I could always use these, I wouldn't buy any other card. Unfortunately, there is one major problem with these cards. These cards max out at a paltry 128GB. My music collection won't even fit on a 512GB SD anymore, so 128GB is just out of the question

 It would eliminate the bulk and awkwardness of having a thumb drive sticking out of the Pi.  Sadly, that's not possible with the largest size only being 128GB. So, I love these cards, but I hate that they are not available in the size I really need. For now, they're only useful as a reliable boot device
