Kingston Canvas Go Plus vs Lexar Professional 1066x

I bought this to put in a garmin drive smart 50 that I bought in 2018. Because the map update required a 32gb micro sd card, I bought this. It performed well during a recent road trip of600 miles and the memory loaded the maps quickly. Great value!

When it comes to storage on a camera, the most important thing to know is whether or not it can hold the images with no issues. This Compact Flash card fits the Canon 5D Mark IV with no problems, and I shot an entire wedding with this recently. The images remained on there until I took them off, and after I cleared it (deleted the images), it continued to work without issues.

Outstanding! By the time the card got full, the last write was at 205 MB/s with the read at 225 MB/s. Still very good. There are no dips in the transfer speed with writing, no "hiccups" that could interrupt for example a video recording, and it stayed consistently above 200 MB/s write speed even after being used for a bit. So this is good, no issue at all with recording 8K video

Here's the story of that experience. I have always used SanDisk, but when I got my new Canon 7D Mkii (with two card slots) for shooting Birds in Flight (BIF) I decided on the basis of a professional memory card review to try Lexar for the CF card slot. The first attempt to do this failed because the card had bad blocks (reported by my Drive Genius software). To try again with the second Lexar are was a big mistake

It has worked flawlessly in 25°F to 108°F in the Texas cold and heat. I will be purchasing another for my Surface tablet.

There are some caveats, however. The biggest one is that Autel Robotics has a history of short support cycles, meaning that parts and batteries become unobtanium after a few years.

Works great as have all the Kingston SD cards I ever purchased. Pretty inexpensive for what you get. I have never had a problem since the first 156MB Kingston SD card I ever purchased. Good product and reliable

I usually buy Sandisk cards. I saw other photographers use the Lexar card so I had to try this one! It's fast and when you need speed to take pictures of a bird in flight that is zipping by you rely on your camera to do the job. The camera can't do the job without a good card to write to! I'm a believer on this Lexar Card. Great shots start with good equipment
