 This is the perfect microwave. It's small and takes up little space on my counter. I have a very small kitchen and little counter space and my huge 35 year old faithful microwave had to be in the garage and inconvenient to use especially by me, so my husband had to use it all the time. This was easy to program with many preset food selections I couldn't

 Three, The rotating platter sits about a quarter inch above the door lip, making it easy to hit it when putting something. The one it replaced was flush with the door opening. It'd still be using the old one, except that I broke the platter and nobody offers a replacement for that model. I dreamed that maybe the platter from this new oven would fit the old one, but no such luck

Nice little gadget

It is louder than my old Sharp but exactly the same size this is was looking for. The turn table gizmo is kinda wonky but works.

Came in an undamaged box and all contents were secure. This microwave is not worth the price. It doesn't heat food evenly or well. Disappointed with the quality of this microwave

Plate is hard to keep In place. Door push lever stopped working after several months the, then worked on and off. Kenmore wanted to charge $250 to diagnose and repair even though it was still under warranty. We will never buy Kenmore again!!!

 The oven is big but incredibly lightweight. Therefore if you put it on a slippery counter or tile surface, the oven will move when you open the door.  You could hold the microwave with your right hand while you pull the handle with your left hand, but that's stupid. The consensus solution for this is to put the microwave on a silicone non-slip heat resistant mat

 I attached a picture on this review. The air clearance is nominally 3" to the left and right and above and 1" to the rear. <2" is very difficult to obtain given the thick heavy power cord goes straight out of the rear and needs more more than 1" just to connect to the power outlet (assuming its behind the oven).  I was concerned since I had 2" clearance to the left of the oven (up against a wall), but the customer service agent said it was no problem if there was sufficient air space to the right (I have 5")

Don't forget to consider the clearance air space around the microwave.

 She made it from her vehicle to my gate and had to put the box down for a minute or two to catch her breath and regain some strength. She then picked it up again and carried it to my porch whilst exclaiming "this thing is HEAVY!!!" I replied, it is a microwave. You can put it on the porch. Right Out of the Box the Light Does Not Work

 I like buttons. I'm like a kid with buttons. My favorite feature is the sensor reheating. It works pretty well as long as it's not too thick in the middle

It Does the Job

  - Noise Level (Cooking noise) - It does make noise like all microwaves do but the noise it makes is actually pretty quiet. Much more quiet than my old microwave.  The noise it makes is an odd buzzing noise when you turn it on to cook. At first i thought that buzzing noise it was making was a bad sign but that's just the noise it makes

 But i turned it back on just because i then realized i enjoy hearing the beep noise feedback.  - Child safety - There is a safety option, at first i thought if i activate it, it would prevent the door from opening but that's not how it works. If you activate it, you can still open the door. But the microwave won't function until you turn off the lock via the keypad

 Would be nice if it could save the time when not plugged in. Because if you accidentally unplug it, then you have to set the time again.  Summary: I haven't fully tested ALL the cooking features. But for basic everyday use of quickly heating / cooking things, it works well, cooks well

 Checked with Toshiba and it only has a one year warranty. Good basic microwave, but wish it was guaranteed to last longer than one year.
