 Regardless of what literature you go with compared to what else is on the market and from everything i'm experiencing on the trail, it's able to be not only durable but also very, very comfortable with those loads. So then, on top of being able to access, obviously from the top, you are able to access as long as you unclip, those guys you can access the main compartment from the bottom. You have very well built over size, ykk, zipper, two right there. You can get into your bottom of your bag that way, so you can get access to things on the bottom if you need to which is a cool feature, and then the other aspect that i really do like is the fact that we have detachable compression straps On the bottom to either cinch down the bag, if i need to or to lash other equipment, maybe your sleeping pad

 I'Ve not seen this before and even the other people on the trip with me noticed they're like whoa. That'S really contoured in kind of an interesting way and that thing fit perfectly in the small, my back and just really rode so well. In fact, at the end of this entire trip, let me give you a little um uncandid trail conversation on how i felt about how comfortable this whole carry system is. There'S the car we started at nine o'clock, it is 12

 I knew i was going on this multi-day, so i reached out to kelty. I said: hey i'd, love to take this on a track and see what it has to offer they're willing to send it over to me to test out and review for you guys, so that i can give you my feedback. My data on what i like what i don't pros and cons of the design, so you can choose whether or not this is the right pack for your next multi-day backpacking adventure. Now based off of that, this usually goes for about 160

 I will be annotating some in and ultimately, you can always hop on over to the kelty website. They do do a great job, um of laying out not only the materials, the um sizing and all those aspects that you may be interested in weight of the pack. So if i miss a data point, that's something just to note i'll have a link over to the kelty website for you that you can check it out, but what we're looking at here is going to be obviously a 65 liter size pack. All of the polymer is going to be ykk brand, so that's a good polymer and then we're going to be looking at ykk zippers as well that are really well built

Ultimately, however, I ended up returning this pack due to comfort concerns. Granted, I never left the confines of my home with the pack, it still created some discomfort in my lower back (even with a measly 20lbs loaded in it). I adjusted equipment several times but could never get rid of a hot spot at the base of the pack (there's not padding to raise the pack off of your lumbar, and I felt the seam across the bottom just constantly rubbed).

Great price, but not the pack for me.

Okay so I waited to review this backpack until I had done some serious hiking with it. For the most part I love this pack. I like the side storage, waist belt storage, top storage and back storage that allows me plenty of room to prioritize where gear goes. The pack is a trade off

 Initially I taped off the straps after fitting but that proved inadequate. Finally I fitted my pack and then took 20 minutes to sew the straps so they stayed put and did not work loose under load and hiking. I personally also had no use for using the top of the pack as a sling pack and jettisoned the straps. Would've been nice if those were removable without cutting them out

 I have been hiking lately with anywhere from 38 to 45 lb's and the pack really handles the weight well and is probably one of the most comfortable packs I have hiked with over the years. Now the issues: When the main compartment is full it is really difficult to get much in the back external compartment. I don't really get why this is sewn on flat and so restrictive??? Now the really big issue: The sure fit system while it does allow for near perfect fitting I have found the fitting not to be static. I was worried about this when I first fitted the pack and looked at the system and as I suspected the pack did not stay fitted under heavy loads and on long hikes

What's going on? everyone? My name is Jeff from Zappos.com and this is the Coyote 65 backpack from Kelsey. Now there are multiple storage compartments on this bag. First, you have this removable top lid that's gonna convert into a sling pack and this has two zippered pockets so you can store any of your smaller items

 So to make it more convenient, they put a zippered area down here so you could access that main compartment through there and you also have one right at the center here and that's gonna allow easier access for the center of the bag which is always a convenient thing to have. Now in front of the Center opener right there have a zippered compartment and this is going to be for your smaller items. It has two extra slip pockets so you could stay keep everything organized and right in front of that a stretchy mesh pocket and this will be great for any of your wet items that you don't want to step inside with all of your dry items on the side here. messy stretch pocket and same thing on the other side and that will hold your water bottles, any energy drinks, things of that size that will fit in there and then on the other side another zipper pocket here that has a nice pass-through for your trekking poles and this will be great for your smaller items

 The zippers appear to be of high quality. The entire package seems to be of excellent quality. In conclusion, I believe the previous design was superior in some aspects, and while there is still space for improvements, I would not hesitate to suggest this pack to a friend.

 Both of these materials are PU coated as well as DWR coated for extra durability. These zippers on the bag are from YKK The plastic hardware is from Juror Flex, and there is standard nylon webbing for all the straps. Starting from the front, the first thing you notice about this bag is this bungee cord system. Here, This is a higher tenacity bungee cord which is just good for lashing gear inside maybe a helmet or a thick jacket that you could just pop in through here and keep that secure during your hikes or your trails

On the sides of the bag we have stretchy mesh water bottle pockets which are really good for fitting a number of different sized water bottles

 It'll be absorbed by that stuff a bit, so that's really helpful. What's also helpful is that this compartment can be used as a space for your hydration reservoir or hydration bladder. There is a little bit of tube porting here that you can put your tube through and it goes to the back panel of the bag and then you simply feed it through one of these accessory loops and then have hydration for a hike.  So this elastic cord that you have you can put it in there, strap it down, gives you a little bit of added stability. You also have some webbing up here on the front so you can clip your carabiner or any other things, and then you have a sternum strap right here across the center which you can move up and down right there that's also well done, and then from the front or the back you have this elastic cord for extra gear. It is adjustable so you can put your bike helmet on here, strap it in securely, or if you're wearing a jacket or a fleece sweater that you need to take off on a hike because it starts to warm up. You can also strap it right in here and tie it down with this bungee

 so this is a highly breathable mesh on the back panel and shoulder harness. so it's supposed to keep you comfortable all day. On the sides you have this stretch material which is done really nicely, then you just pop it out. It holds two large water bottles I've tried with a hydro flask
