Other than unplugging the unit, if you keep the drawer slightly ajar the display lights will go out and the unit will cease pinging much quicker. Also, the unit is not super heavy so if your countertop is very slick you may have to steady the unit with one hand while opening it to prevent the whole unit from sliding with the drawer. It does have rubber feet but a non-slip or silicone pad underneath may help if you encounter this issue

I got this item completely skeptical that it could be as I have owned deep fryers. This is the best kitchen appliance I purchased in a very long time and I got one for all of my married kids and They also LOVE their air fryer and use it all the time. Different foods take different times and temps so you have to figure out how to get everything hot at the same time. This dual basket solves that

The basket is a must don't know why they don't send with this fryer but get one you'll need it.

Set up was very easy and I followed the user guide to do a one time 20 minute "cook" with it empty followed by cleaning it thoroughly. It's honestly a very nice looking piece of equipment and deserves a spot on anyone's kitchen counters.

I have not used or tested out the rotisserie items, but I did use the basket for French fries and tots but truly didn't see any difference from placing them on the pan tray. So far I can say the 1.5 inch Filet Mignon we cooked and the Pork Chops have been fantastic! Again, you'll have to find your True Time and settings. My experience has been to always add 2 or 3 extra minute as a PRE-heat
