I want a rackable stainless steel curl bar that won't rust like the stainless one from Rep reportedly does. My current curl bar is the Vulcan (black oxide) and rust builds up on it pretty quick and is annoying to maintain. The Vulcan black oxide rusts even faster than the bare steel on my Kabuki Transformer bar. Black oxide gives a nice feeling grip, but I won't buy it again

 At $375 shipped, you’re getting all of the function of a name brand Kabuki Transformer Bar at half the cost. Sure the finish isn’t the best, and it is more risky to order from China; with that being said, I did read a bad review on their company page recently, and Sandy did follow up right away, seemingly to rectify the issue. The main thing I’m looking out for in the future is how well the foam and cover will hold up; only time will tell. But I can’t say more great things about this bar

I started putting my order in with Sandy, thinking I was going to order the one-piece bar. She then informed me that shipping the one piece bar would be a lot of money. Like $1200. So obviously, no, I’m not going to do that

 I don’t understand how shipping costs work, as I’ve ordered small items from China with free shipping. I wonder how much of the $140 was to ship overseas and how much of that was actually shipping from California (the port it landed in) to Jersey.

 I’ll discuss the specs, the order process, cost, my impression, and conclusion of the bar. This is a longer write up than I planned, so feel free to skip to the section that interests you, though I do feel every section is important. I plan to do a 1 year review in the future.

 One of those reasons is they've improved the bar but lowered the price. Typically speaking, when you see equipment companies improve something, they tend to add something change a process, and that process tends to cost a little bit more money. What kabuki has done is they've actually dropped the price from 639 dollars all the way down to 599. It might not seem like that big of a deal, but, in my opinion, it's a very big deal that they have managed to go down in price, while improving the versatility of the bar

 Now, if you look on mine, you'll see that it has a little bit of light marring already from use in the garage gym. The reason that it has this marring is because when you have this bar, let me throw it back together. Let me turn it around real, quick all right. So typically, when you have this bar in the rack, what you're going to have is this pop pin, and this is how i would normally i walk backwards out of the rack
