 They just started doing wide models of the Regular split boards that they do. It's sort of the first year We have them here in NZ, but you probably are looking forward to them in the next American season So I'll give you a quick tour on the new K2 Marauder and the K2 far out binding So bindings come off pretty quick and easy with the Volley puck system that all comes with a board in the package and then As you can see it's set up on channels it's quite good for adjustability and Then The other thing I really like is with the old split boards these mounts here are basically a t-bolt and they come through to your base But what you can see here is it's flush. They've done a really good job with that so no t-bolts anymore and then My favorite part of all boom Pretty cool how this all works too It's really quick, really easy So all these mounting pucks here come with the far out binding 2020 This is the XL model.  So with the Marauder package deal, you obviously get the board itself, the pre-cut skins, which for anybody that's cut skins, they know that can be a pain, the mounting cocks, the hardware and the risers. That's the complete package there with the Marauder. If you guys are looking for a split board, this thing's got it all. Check it out

 As far as the shape and bend on this board goes, it's predominantly camber, extended rocker in the nose with a shortened rocker section in the tail. The internal workings, we got a BAP core. That's our famous bamboo Aspen Polonia core, tried and true. ICG 10, so we do run some carbon tip to tail to help stiffen this thing up a little bit

 It's also going to feature a sintered base. A lot of people, when they're buying a complete split board package, they don't know what they're getting.  And if you guys need help finding the right snowboard for you, feel free to click the link in the description and reach out to me or one of the other experts on Curated. Never Summer rates this an 8 out of 10 on their flex scale and it was very comfortable at pretty much any speed I was able to take it at today, regardless of condition or uneven terrain. It felt very damp. There are inserts between the bindings that create a little bit of stiffness, but once you really begin to press into them, especially at higher speeds, it creates a nice locked in feeling that really puts triple camber in the category of free ride

 That was not the case on this board. In terms of tree riding, I took it in the woods. It was very sticky and the sport handled great. It was very maneuverable

 I ride a NS Swift Split for deep pow days and it slays and floats like a dream. Sometimes the uphill is meh but once you master the uphill technique it’s just fine.

 Alright let's start off talking about the flex, I'd say it's definitely going to be on the stiffer side of medium getting quite stiff and the personality is going to be more on the aggressive side of the spectrum, it's a very powerful snowboard, the feel kind of reminds me of the Proto Ultra but in a directional shape. This is going to be a very energetic snowboard as well, pretty much any tension you're able to load up in this board it's going to give right back, it's going to offer a lot of pop, it's going to have a very snappy feel to it and when it comes to butters and flat ground type tricks you are going to be working against that stiffer flex and the additives in this snowboard to get any kind of presses going so it's going to be more challenging to find those balance points and it does have a very precise feel to it so I'd be paying close attention to your edges for that kind of stuff to make sure you're not catching up and generally it's not going to be the most butter friendly just because of how aggressive and how precise this board is. This is going to be a very energetic snowboard as well, pretty much any tension you're able to load up in this board it's going to give right back, it's going to offer a lot of pop, it's going to have a very snappy feel to it and when it comes to butters and flat ground type tricks you are going to be working against that stiffer flex and the additives in this snowboard to get any kind of presses going so it's going to be more challenging to find those balance points and it does have a very precise feel to it so I'd be paying close attention to your edges for that kind of stuff to make sure you're not catching up and generally it's not going to be the most butter friendly just because of how aggressive and how precise this board is. I also want to talk about the carving experience on the Proto FR and there's two specs I want to highlight, first is the waist width so at a 160 you're going to get a 25

 There's also multiple dampening technologies built into this snowboard to help smooth out the ride and iron out any chatter or vibrations you might get as well as a sintered base which is known to be a higher end base material that's harder, faster and more durable compared to an extruded base but you do want to make sure to wax it regularly to maintain a nice fast glide out there. And that's going to be it for a quick tech breakdown, let's get into how this board feels out on snow.
