 You know like we were talking about there's a nice healthy bow of camber underfoot transitioning to what seems like a touch maybe just a touch of rocker in the tail but feels almost like full camber and then you just have a really mellow directional rise that just kind of like seems to meet almost the curve of the nose which is super cool and it doesn't seem like much but it really does help with directional float. It kind of reminds me other than that you know that with Burton they have this kind of directional rocker very similar style but Burton has that kink nose where this just kind of seems to be laid down be laid down a lot more and interact with the the rocker and the nose a lot better and just kind of make it seem like it's just one really really long nose and you know I really like this board and so you can get some pretty decent directional setback. Let's talk about setback on board though because it's always so different than the setback on sidecut leads you to believe so you're looking at 22 inches all the way back which is pretty good kind of the average thing here and you're looking at 22 and a quarter and you're looking at 18 so you're looking at 4 and a quarter back on board which is pretty good not quite as good as the broadcast from what I remember but you know pretty good and you can get really good directional float on this and that's what makes this such a fun one board quiver. Yeah it favors directional riding just a touch but you can center this up and treat this like a very aggressive mountain freestyle board on groomer days and then set it all the way back on deep powder days and get good directional float

 I was much more capable when it came to buttering on snow with this than I was with the the other board and I tried it at the demos and then got this for extended demo which was great. You can kind of see the base just kind of, you know, clear, unwaxed, kneading wax and when it does it'll probably have a nice glide to it. As it stands now it was a little sticky.  The good ride sucking less every year for over 10 years The good ride sucking less every year for over 10 years Yeah, ah that's actually stiff and look at this camber profile you got a Steve Steven flex it It was flexing on me though, it's camber underfoot with a little more rocker in the nose Then in the tail, but there's some rocker in the tail They say it's a hybrid of three passports the turbo dream the ultra dream and the slay blade Slay in a world of soft all-mountain boards You have the man Fest and that's what's going on here with this board. It's super stiff Aggressive all-mountain yet forgiving all-mountain yet Just like it does not give a flip about what is in front of it It doesn't give a flippin fuck doesn't know I try and stay I try and appeal to our our younger It doesn't give a flippin fuck about not yeah. Yes. Yeah Seriously over chunder Like over ice this thing just goes over it all it's so damp like you get no reverb No chatter No, if sands or butts About it if this thing is just a beast beast mode board You know what I gotta say out of all the boards

 I had no problem with it. So maybe it is a little little off I felt super off right switch on it and I believe like the old boards this has a setback on Sidecut as well as board and I would imagine it's probably point seven five I haven't checked the specs, but that's how the other ones were They were all point seven five and that kind of seems to be k2s thing So that's my guess check the specs below to see hopefully we'll get this for extended demo I can slap this on the table. We can talk about setback on board as well as Setbacks on side cuts did I suffer in succotash slumber face you just now Okay, but man, I think this is you know, there are still there's so many people that love the bomb But this isn't just a bombing board this I Can't remember In recent memory there aren't many boards out here like this. Yeah, you know It definitely lives a touch on the directional side, but it's definitely doable switch At least in my opinion, especially if you get used to it, but it's a great all-mountain board it's the kind of board you want to if you looking for a one board quiver and You love to just bomb and you love to carve and you love to turn you like good air This can get good air and this can straight line a kicker a big fucking kicker Yeah, I'd take this in the pipe because I had no problem turning this You know what? I mean, this just this is a very good all-mountain board I would love to test it against some of our favorites and Really see how it does because I think it would be right up there with boards like the Jones Mountain Twin the Oz custom woody So many other like, you know Direction direction alish

 It's fun It's easy Once you understand that to just do any kind of butter variation whether you're in soft snow creamy snow or a firm groomer There's a smooth nimble and responsive edge to edge control on this board it just rolls in and out of turns with such ease and you notice those clear defined flex points and the Overall flex in shape and camber profile this board work in conjunction to really let you dial your turns in You're able to engage Outside that front foot but it steers more from the middle through the tail if you're really driving a hard carve If you want to be laid back you can ankle steer under foot and it's fine but then when you need to push it on that turn you could drive your knee to the center of the board loading that Camber and getting it to activate that rocker to slingshot you out of a turn Mellow easy setup turns medium level carves or those deep hard aggressive carves It covers all bases with this board. You really feel that it wants to be on edge and it really wants to drive Who's this board for the all-mountain free ride guide that likes some freestyle flair? So I've written the regular manifest and it was okay It was a snowboard that did snowboard things didn't really stand out as being this end all be all but this board is lighter It's got a different flex pattern to it and it's just more responsive which makes it a better ride in my opinion this board Just works with everything It's got going on with it to make it that all-mountain free ride board But you can still have that freestyle flair with it. So you can go spin off of a side hit You could go in the park if you needed to It's great. This is just a good board through and through and I think it's gonna be one of those Seminal sleeper hits with the people that understand who this is actually for Comparable boards the Jones flagship the Capita mega mercury the yes standard binding recommendations the K2 lean AT The now select Pro the Rome katana This has been my review of the K2 manifest team

That's the way to look at it with this deck the snap on this board is just easy Predictable you load that camber up and activates that rocker section and it reacts it rebounds the way you want it to it's very Predictable you understand that you're gonna have more than enough to ollie off a cat-trag launch a side hit pop over a slow sign it's just That reactive and that predictable you never have to contemplate if you're going to make it over something or off of something It's just solid and it's easy to load It doesn't really fight you but it does react when you let it so that you rebound and get more pop Those clear defined flex points outside the insert pack make all the difference in the world when you butter with this board You're gonna press into them.  This board is available in 153 156 159 162 157 wide 160 wide 164 wide I rode this board at a rap out base on an overcast day with pockets of blue warmer temps there was about an inch of loose grapple snow on top of perfect corduroy Firm fast corduroy or creamy corduroy depending where you were on the mountain And I rode it with my Rome black label bindings and my k2 thru-axis boots So the flex on this board does come just past a middle of the road all mountain but There's clear defined flex points that add some freestyle flair to this board so what you get is a smooth consistent flex from tip to tail, so From tip to tail. It's just smooth and consistent and then you've got this torsional flex that matches up to it But you've got these clear defined flex points right outside the insert packs And that's where that freestyle flair really comes into it on this board now For the most part this board is stable you get a little bit of chatter out in the tips But it mostly dissipates before it hits underfoot, so you're not really feeling that and the center of the board Unless you're straight lining through like a chundery mogul field of death You're not gonna feel it. It does such a good job of dampening It's damp where it needs it to be but it's still lively where it counts It's one of those boards that you're like. Oh, I can handle this going this speed It's gonna be fine if I push it up a little bit higher got to bend my knees more or if I'm being a little bit More laid-back

The 2022 K2 Manifest Team Snowboard Review

 It's really a stiffer board, eight out of 10 flex. I expect it to feel some chatter here and there, but really you ride solid over any bumpy or uneven terrain. This board is not going to be my top choice for tight and maneuverable areas. If I was taking this thing in the trees, I'd be super cautious

 I was lucky enough to ride the K2 Manifest. Just so you know, we are not sponsored by any brands. All these reviews are completely unbiased. K2 claims this is the board for any advanced freerider looking for a stiffer cambered option that can handle anything you throw at it

 I really only want to be in some open trees. I wouldn't want to be in the tightest or more narrow trees. If you're riding through a little goalie or a tight area and you're having to go slow, you're going to feel this board riding flat. Getting it into a more open area or onto the groomer, you're going to be able to lay into your turns and actually ride the board how it's designed to ride

2023 K2 Manifest Snowboard Review | Curated

 This is like definitely medium stiff, you know, and check the on the table review with the camber profile and the setbacks on board. They both have an excellent setback on board, they both have like directional camber with some early rise in the nose and maybe just a touch in the tail, but it doesn't feel too catchy. It's easy to take switch, it's easy to ride regular, I mean it's not perfect, it's not like the Oz Custom Woody which is basically just a true twin with some setback inserts. This is a, you know, directional twin slash almost directional board because it's got like kind of a directional camber profile going on, it's got, you know, longer nose than the tail, kind of more like the loaded Algernon

 You have the manifest if you want a little more mellow a little more playful a little more kind of like forgiving you have the broadcast and yeah I'll be curious to see kind of what happens with the production models I think you're going to be more like this I think the demo model we wrote was not typical of what the production model is going to be. It's going to be more like this flex. There you have it.

 I have, I paired them all up, as you can see it's just Union Atlas across the board. I rode it with the Dynastactical ADV and I have Grant here on SL, Burton SLXs and you know, kind of interesting, Grant and I rode this board at the demos and then we got this from what I think is closer to a production model. And did you notice that this was softer than the demo we rode? I thought so. The demo board we rode was stiff

 I thought there would be a massive disparity between the Algernon and this, but it was pretty close. I think I feel seas coming up. Yep. It was pretty close
